So I picked up a SR with harness. The harness has a white F1 plug that matches exactly to the F1 connector that's in the car for instruments, etc. Theory is I should just have to repin it, well.. I've run into some issues here

I depinned the SR harness and found the wires I need.

Black/Ground
Blue-Green/ AC signal
Blue-black/ temp signal
Orange / start
Yellow-red / tach
yellow-green / speedo

Ok, now I move on to the connector that's in the car and that's where I run into the problem. The wiring guides say the SR color should match up to the KA color, great. Problem is my KA connector DOESNT have matching wire colors. There's no blue-green or blue-black wire. I see that it has a green with blue and a green with black though. The orange wire is kind of missing too.. unless the wire that's brown or red i color is supposed to be the orange one.

The real kick in the pants is I pulled out the pullout wiring diagram. The wires in my connector do not match what the diagram says at all, they're all in different positions and some of the colors don't match up.

The guides I've found all state that since it's a DOHC it should have a brown connector.. clearly my DOHC has a white connector so obviously some of the info is wrong.

So I took some pics of my dash connector and was hoping someone could help sort this.

The car is a base automatic 1992 coupe. The wiring is 100% stock and unmodified.

You're looking at the wrong connector... I get why you thought that'd be the one, since it looks like the SR connector though.

The connector you want is brown, and will have matching wire colors.

I'll dig up farther and take another look.. this is the one directly above where the ECU was behind the glove box

Ah thanks ! Looked again took off the glove box. Looks like the guy I sold my ka harness to pulled the plug way out of place when pulling the harness it ended up behind the ac box

What's that one in the pic plug into ? Really should have pulled the old harness myself ..

Unless I looked through the FSM, I wouldn't be able to tell ya. Not super important, most likely HVAC related.
