Can you tell me more details on the GT-C available offset ?

What i do is cut out the register (the part of the barrel that the face sits on/bolts to) and weld it back in at a different section of the barrel effectively moving the face further in to lower the offset or further out to raise the offset. I considered just changing the offsets to around 0 and posting them up here, but how often do you get to buy pairs of brand new Volks in whatever offset you want? I figured this would be awesome for you dudes who want to run your drift spares at the exact same fitment as your "main" wheels.

i see what you are saying about cutting the register, but just so i am understanding clearly here i have to ask the question. So, lets say i want to keep it 18X10 and just have it a negative offset you will need to add to the lip/weld a new section on the lip or will you put a new bigger lip on?
