SUBFRAME SPACERS SUPER SALE 2004 $65.00 SHIPPED

Will fit the 89-94 240SX (S13), and 95-98 240SX (S14)

Definitely a must have and one of the best suspension mods for the money at $65.00 I can't see why anyone would spend $150-$250.00 + for aluminum or Delran when this is a much better concept both in installation and ride aspects.

The idea behind a sub frame spacer is ingenious. Not only do they perform, they are easy to install (instructions included), and also maintain a fairy nice ride. Cars with aluminum and Delran sub frame bushings can have a rather harsh and bone jarring ride. The spacers also increase the durability and effectiveness of the stock liquid filled sub frame bushings because they are compressed and will not allow the entire sub frame to smack up against the bushing during regular suspension travel. There is quite a bit of play in between these points in question without the sub frame spacers.

WHAT THE SPACERS DO:
They pre-load the stock rubber bushings so the body does not float separately from the sub frame. Stock, the body “floats” about an inch before the suspension even interacts with the driving conditions. This “floating” or vague, sloppy feeling is magnified with upgraded suspension modifications. Installing the spacers will prevent the body from “floating”. This gap between the body and sub frame is also the reason for wheel hop. Because the sub frame is mounted loosely, the sub frame is allowed to bounce up and down.

Pre-loading the stock bushings results in much more responsive handling and also greatly reduces wheel hop. By retaining the stock rubber mounts, it will also maintain a decent ride quality.

I got a set off the last GB. The only thing I can think of negative about them is...well...I can't think of anything negative...

They tightened up the slop I was having in my rear subframe to almost nil...It all but eliminated the problem I was having with wheel hop on hard launches (still there on occasion but alot more controlable), drifts are alot more predictable when your subframe doesn't move around mid drift causing a nice unexpected weight transfer... I could go on, but I think you get the idea.

I installed my set in less than an hour for all 4...with only a floor jack in my driveway....very easy to install. Instructions are good...just follow them and you will be good to go.

Worth every penny.

i can't measure by decibel levels, but it's just more road noise, not that bad unless your(or your passenger's) ears are sensitve or if you drive on certain types of pavement that are super loud, i only have a vlsd and not those clutch types, people say those get loud when they engage...

The spacers install on the bottom. They are designed to compress the stock liquid filled bushing taking up any loose play or slack that causes "floating" and offer the best all around performance. I do not recommend the 8 piece collar kits with the cut outs on them as they can risk damaging and rupturing to stock bushings. The 8 piece collar kits are desiged to set up a car for a specific style like Drag, Drift or Autocross. Once they are set for this specific style, it will adversely effect to other styles of driving. I would only recommend and 8 pc kit to those who are setting up a race car and only if they were closed with no cut outs. This style collar kit is only for those who have access and ability to continually change the set up.

Our spacers are designed for the best all around performance without the hassle of readjusting or the worry of damaging the stock bushing.

Yes, we did well. All the time and efforts prepping the car paid off as we ended up with the quickest ET in the import class at the event. It was only an 1/8 mile track but it was still fun spanking some unexpecting domestics. Our best time was an 8.025 @91mph though we've run in the 7s at better prepped tracks. We had bad traction all night long. I guess its time for the Mickey Thompsons. Thanks for letting me share our story.

people, take it from me. just got my order of spacers in the other day, just installed them today. and seriously, it only took me 15mins to install. would've been less time except i had to find 2 replacement bolts because the 2 i had were looking pretty bad! looks great, feels great! over all, well worth $60. and fast shipping, too! i live all the way in NC.
