Trying to find a bolt on resonated test pipe, but it appears the only manufacturer that has them now is Megan.

ProjectSilvia discontinued them, and intensepower is backordered for a few months. Anyone know of other sources for this? Would like to stay away from Megan if possible. Thanks.

a resonated test pipe will be a waste of money, when compared to a straight pipe.. a 6" resonator wont do anything for decreasing sound.. ive compared them, in an identical car, and it made zero difference in sound.

meh, I thought it was resonated based on the design of it. but whatever.

The ProjectSilvia/Megan/ISIS/Intense Power/Ebay test pipes are all the same thing.

I had the 3" ProjectSilvia one and a 3" no-brand resonated test pipe off Ebay, and they were identical.
Then I ordered another off Ebay because I wanted a 2.5" one, and when it came it turned out to be Megan.

As for a resonated test pipe making a difference, I think it helps. It will definitely not make an obnoxious exhaust silent by itself, but it will at least make it sound deeper/better.

An easy way to test how well an exhaust/exhaust component muffles sound is to yell or blow an air horn through it.
