Rb25 NEO Maf problem

Ok so I started my NEO for the first time and she started right up. After 10 mins of idle she cut off and when I would try to start she wound sputter and cut off. When we unplugged the Maf she started up fine and idlers good but with the 3k rev limit of course. I'm using a pink e60 Maf iPad told it would work or do I need a e61?
