im selling my 1991 Long Wheel Base Nissan President. basically a stretched infiniti q45 with japan only front and rear and interior. Only one known in US. Converted to LHD.
complete new paint job with discontinued and complete admiration kit. Zenki front grille, headlights, Includes Chrome window visors. The interior is completely stock with no tears. Has the original jdm reclining power rear seats, fornt folding passenger front seat and rear power curtains. The orginal rear console with tv and control is in the car, but not at the moment hooked up.
The car had factory active suspension on it that was turned off and swapped out with oem static suspension and lowering springs to achieve the lowered stance. Motors and trans is swapped in newer low mileage motor and trans with a custom muffler delete in the rear.
The car has big brake upgrades from the r32 skyline. So specific offset wheels are necessary to clear the brakes. The car has ac in it and most of the components to put it back together. When the car was converted to LHD, the orignal JDM hard lines were not gonna work, and i never went out to complete the US conversion. Parts are easily sourced at most parts yards.
The car does run and is drivable. It is california regged. You can take it as is $12000 obo.
Note: parts from the US 1991-1994 infiniti q45 driveline, transmission and suspension are interchangeable. The only parts not available in the in the US are the rear doors and windows, the center console with tv, power rear curtains and the rear seat. Those are japan only.
needs:
power steering pump from non active suspension q45. wil run without it but with minor leaks
powersteering rack rebuilt. Oem one is leaking. I will include another rack with car.
if you want ac, jsut need to have it completely revamped to a unit from a 94 q45.
thats all it needs...

Heres some history on the car. The first owner was the chief of police of tokyo and he was updating to a newer model. I bought it from the second owner who converted, as a mod, to lhd about 14 years ago when the car was in japan. I brought it as a parts car thinking about registration and rarity more then rhd. At the time, getting a complete president out of japan for a decent price was almost like buying a new US q45 and finding one for sale was another task. I just happen to come up on this LHD one for a decent price. I would have preferred the rhd, but price and availabilty controlled the sale. Also to register a rhd car in ca wasnt top of the list unless it was a skyline. At least with the lhd conversion, US parts can be used to keep it going. Finding parts for a rhd q45/president was hard in japan.
the interior is pretty much the same as stock us q45. all grey leather in dcent condition no rips or tears. Black power rear curtian, b&w tv in center console, power folding front passenger seat and rear power reclining seats. here pics of the tv and seat controls.
