Hardbody ka into s13

My friend crashed his 97' hardbody and was interested in swapping his entire motor setup into my s13 shell, i know there is quite a bit of differences with the intake and wiring. has anyone attempted this and how difficult would it be? just trying to find some info out on it

i know you have to change the intake manifold..i think the dizzy aswell since it the motor is obd2 and your obd1..might be some other i cant think of

I wouldn't think you would have to change that if he was using the hardbody harness and ecu right?

The oil pan and oil pick up are in diffrent spots i tried already lol ,trans is shorter and trans mount is diffrent. but everything else should be good to gothis was a 94 i worked on too but they should be the same chassis

so can you swap the oil pan,pick up, and trans mount with a 240? those parts are already available to me. His motor is really reliable and thats the only reason this question came up otherwise i'd go out and pick a dohc ka up for cheap. appreciate the help!

i think the 240 trans will bolt up im 95% postive it will and the same with the oil pan and pickup and i think the girdle thing thats in between the pan and crank is diffrent also. I was putting a 240 motor in a hardbody and i had to switch over to the hardbody oil pan and pickup. its been about 2 years since ive done it .
