Well long story short I have a Haltech for my 180 and no tuner. The dude who was going to tune it said :fawk2: to the tuning side of things. There is nobody else here in Okinawa that messes with Haltech. Im looking for a good base map to help get me started. I have heard mixed reviews on the maps that Haltech puts out(if you know better first hand then please speak up).
The list of mods is as follows
Block and Head - Stock
Turbo - T2871R .64ar
Fuel - Tomei 740cc inj
Exhaust - Tubular Mani with straight pipe after that
EMS - Haltech 1000 with plug and play harness
Boost - 1bar
Fuel - Japanese High Octane ( about 94-95 US Octane)
Any help would be great guys:D

Ouch...this is the reason why I kept telling you guys not to go Haltech. I thought Matt is going to start teaching the Okis to tune Haltechs? Also, I thought Zman was gonna help you try to tune it since he messed with it on his RB?

As far as an Oki learning it have not heard anything. With Zman he said it would be good to get a good base map and then he would help me tweak it. And yes your right I really wish I would have gone PFC here on Oki.

I lived in oki from 2001 to 2004 and everyone had rom tunes for blue eye. i think the best thing to do is just sell the haltech to someone here in the states and get a PFC. im on the eastcoast and its hard for us to find people to do PFC but they will do haltech all day long.

Ya I looked into rom tunes, but I'm looking into upgrades later down the road. Right now I'm looking into a remote ture from someone like Shadows(or somebody else if people know names). If all else I will just wait on the Haltech till I get back stateside. By the way nice Team Hinga banner.

thanks. ive been part of hinga for like 9 years now. Im lookin at different tuning now cause i have done a some stuff for my motor over the winter. my setup is similar to yours but i have a 1.1 headgasket, arp headstuds, greddy mani, i run 110 fuel in my car. i have a rome tune but ive been lookin into different ecus. ive read almost all of the ost frome steveshadows and have seen nothing but good things from him. check out the rsempathy site cause i think they have base timing and fuel setting for a sr using haltech.
