The "switched" wire is goes to something that will turn on with your engine and turn off with your engine. So the ignition wire is where you'd splice it into. The other power is a constant power wire, so look for a wire that has constant 12V source at all times. One of the grounds you are talking about is probably a power wire for the backlight of the gauge. Find a wire that turns on with your headlights or running lights. If there is no backlight, then simply ground the wires it tells you to.

It does have a backlight but i thinks its on all the time. So two grounds? It just seems odd but whatever ill try it. The sensor wire is correct though? Im just gonna run a 18gauge wire from the little adapter thingy in the radiator hose. (with the sensor in it) Just wondering, why does a gauge need a constant? Thanks Bud!!!

1 wire from sensor to gauge (s). Ignition (I) goes to something that turns on the gauges. I wired mine with 2 toggle switch one to turn on the lights and one to turn on the actual gauge to function. (g) ground goes to ground lol and u good to go. Don't do constant power, because even when your car is off the gauge Is still on, u don't want that

So can both grounds...ground got it lol. and both 12v can be run together to a switched 12v? i would just test it but sr20 comes on the 3rd!!!!mm :wiggle:

here ya go.. Personally I don't like my gauge lights on at all times if u do then disregard one switch.
Some people simply tap into the stock headlight swich wiring. but i dont
