well I have searched and found good info on lighten flywheels. I was wondering is there anykind of preparations that I have to do to the flywheel before installing it into the car?

Make sure the flywheel is free of grease, dirt and any smudges when you mount it on.

also, make sure the torque settings are correct on the flywheel. You're also going to have to use something to put in the teeth of the flywheel to keep it from spinning while you torque/ or remove the bolts on the flywheel.

thats a good question... ive always wondered that, from every pic i saw, jun flywheels are painted.
oh and ALWAYS use lock tite. having a flywheel or clutch saw your feet of is highly over rated...

I would leave the black paint, probably just a little bling bling paint and it'll rub off if u scratch it with ur finger nails. eventually its gonna rub off, i just dont' think its worth the effort to take it off. Why would jun be stupid and make you "resurface" i guess you could say, a new flywheel right ? or...yeah? heh

yea i see what your sayin but i didnt mean resurface it ..just sand it down,, i was just thinking that when the black paint wears away it might contaminate the clutch you know...
i just gonna put it in as is fuck it right,, the stock clutch and flywheel are still good so i dont gotta do this anytime soon anyways plus it took like 2 months to get this pos from japan..
