KA24DE engine swap shop in SOCAL

Hi, I searched but didn't find much...so I know an engine is about $500, but the local shops I called all want $800-$1200 for labor only...which I was told to be a bit high for a direct swap?

For those that have done KA24DE swaps, where do you guys get them done and how much did it cost you?

Or if anyone in LA (El Monte) area can do it at home, how much do you ask to swap for me?

I gave my guy 120 bucks plus my UK s13 9k rpm tach, z32 MAF and a fucked up 180sx kouki bumper, and I still had to help him out. I felt like I gave him a bit much but he was a very meticulous guy so I guess it was worth it.

El monte is crawling with auto shops that do swaps.ask around for the best pricing. Honestly its easy to swap in a Ka...

^^^ yeah is easy if u have the tools and space I just finished my swap 2 days ago took my about 5hrs to finish and i spent just a lil over 100 cuz i had to rent the engine host, and bought some bandages lol

it really isnt... take out engine. put it new engine. put it new harness and ecu and i do believe the tach but not ure... thats it.
