i had planned to shave it originally, but then i got a glimmer of hope that maybe the spoiler would just hide it
ah well, nothing is ever that easy unless its a honduh =]

Zenki S14's in japan with the factory Aero package installed before delivery to dealer, have no 3rd brake light why because the navan spoiler has a 3rd brake light built in.
So to find a 3rd brake light-less trunk loook for zenki that have the navan 3 piece wing. He probably (the orange car) shaved it or got a zenki aero trunk from a clip.

bah just shave it! a good body shop can do it, and its quite inexpensive..no use seraching all over for a 3rd brake light-less trunk lid.
jdm bling..useless!

only problem with shaving aaron is that you need to some times repaint the the fenders so that they will match the newly repainted trunk (since u shaved it u SHOULD repaint the whole trunk).
Then again the navan spoiler leaves 6 holes total when mounted, those need to be shaved or sealed either way.

no you dont need to repaint the whole trunk they (the body shop) can just blend and then clear the trunk
When i get a paint job....some time in the distant future:rolleyes: .....should i get a new hatch or just fill in the hole on my hatch? my hatch and indention going up from the previous spoiler. so you think i should just shave it or get a spoilerless hatch? and im also liking the idea of shaving the 3rd brake light on the hatch.

since your hatch is warped, get a new one (well, new to you)
and shave the 3rd brake light!
shave rear hatch is the tops!

thats just mickey mouse to me, i'd want it very clean...no blending on my car. For me i can tell where stuff has been blended its still not 100% the same to me.

IIRC, isn't illegal to ditch the 3rd brake light? I've heard of people that got rearended but got screwed in court because their 3rd brake light wasn't working.

I got that wing on my car and no it wouldnt cover up the brake light. Id say itll cover up half but not the whole thing.
