Ok I DID search but didn't come up with the exact answer im looking for. I have a 1990 hatch that was an AUTO. My friend has a 1990 5-speed which was gutted but his plans are a RB25 or suttin so he gave me his 5-speed driveshaft. We cant tell if his car has or had ABS but I know mine doesn't. I measured the length of the two driveshafts and my AUTO non abs is a inch longer. I KNOW abs driveshafts are longer or shorter whatever, but the problem is I dont have another 5-speed driveshaft to compare it to.

What im asking for is the length of the 5-speed non abs driveshaft, THANKS!!!!

Oh and im going from auto ka24e to manual sr20 so might change situation?

Take his front half and your back half and it won't matter.

Driveshaft is 2 pieces. Front half changes between auto and manual. Rear half changes with abs or no abs.

^^^^^+1 if you have both just mix and match them, its real easy if your converting to manual, and the drive shaft your getting is from a manual it doesn't matter about abs because the first half of the drive shaft is the the only part that matters for the tranny put the new drive shaft first half on the old drive shaft second half and your good to go
