Working on someone's car after they crashed..The CAS plug broke off the cas but it still had the prongs, so i plug it in with the prongs only..fires right up..car needed motor mounts, rad, piping, etc. so i go ahead and do all that..then i go to start it up and drive it out of the garage..and well..doesn't start..So i take apart the CAS, and swapped out the plug..I took apart another working cas to do so, so i didn't have to pull the whole thing out and mess with timing..
So assuming I took it apart and put it all back together properly then it should of worked..Unless it wasn't that? It cranks, but not the best cause it was on the jumpbox that was dying, And its been bothering me that i can't figure this out. Maybe battery is super dead? I doubt it..
Does anyone have a picture of the internals of a CAS or if they can take their cap off to make sure i installed it all correctly? I would do it to my car but mines at home.
