anyone know why 2 piece cost a lot more?? do they even look better??

The reason they cost more is because they're tougher and lighter.

I'm sure someone knows way way more about this than me, but two piece wheels are generally stronger from what I understand. Almost all real racing wheels are of a two piece design

i was always under the impression, other than the inherant coolnes factor in the 4 thousand little bolts, the biggest advantage tom multi piece wheels was that, in larger sizes, if you curb check you can replace part instead of the whole deal...

I highly doubt that since multi-piece wheels are for racing. Quite frankly I don't think those guys could give two shits less if their rims are scratched. Although I could be wrong. I do believe the advantage is %150 strength. But I dunno left from right!!
