Car wraping shop?

DONT go to gatorwraps i used to work for them, the owner would sell 3m controltac with uv laminate which is pricey high quality vinyl. Then he would wrap there car or truck with some cheap shit!!! When i found out about it and confronted him about it, 2 weeks later he called me into his office. All of a sudden my performance at work wasnt to company standards. So i was fired! But anyways when you wrap the hood make sure they use a UV laminate cuz after about 6 months it will fade especially with this socal sun!!! Also if you find a place that will just sell you the material i can do the wrap for you for like 30 bucks! And i will show you how its done so you can do it yourself in the future. Found some wrap place in whitter they quoted me 500but for a pretty detailed wrap they said they wrap most of the advertising cars out there I also say yoyo tires rigs there there was 3 of them getting wrapped at the same time they said its warranty. For 5 years and it covers rockchips bubbles scratches and fades s the guy also said if you put it in shows he could do the wrap for free if he could put there company logo on it also

Thanks I wish my brother would have done a better job of washing his car, he did It last minute. But your looking at around 220 to wrap your roof with matte black! Using 3m product

Primer is ok as long as its a even coat. Any major inperfections in the paint are going to show through the vinyl. Anytime you apply vinyl on primer or old paint its smart to prep the surface by going over it with a 1000 or 1500 grit to get good adhesion and a smooth finish.

I work in a sign shop and my boss made my wrap his hood . I never do vehicle wraps so I was shitting briks. Some soapy spray and heat gun will make it super easy if you decide to do it your self

i just color matched my CF hood using vehichle wrap material....didnt want to paint over the Cf finish.
