Dood, I hope you're kidding. Drifting is all about control and a whole shitload of skill.

Ahh, yes, that makes sense. I knew you were more educated than that :D

Yeah, newbies ideas on drifting are completely moronic for the most part. Did anyone see the post about RealTV's drifting footage? If you listen to what the announcer says the whole time it's pretty ridiculous. He spouts off exactly the way those FF ricer wannabe drifters talk. :(

Could you elaborate on that a bit?

The way I see it, you may be on the edge of control, but you are still in control for the most part. Your inputs drive the car's actions. Of course something could go wrong and you could spin, but that's what happens when you're at the edge.

Exactly.. when your on the edge, you can't account for variables out of your control, so you are in essense, out of control.

If race car drivers were truly in control, they would never wreck, or die. Of course, as a driver, you CAN'T dwell on that. If you did, you would be so busy trying to control things that you can't you would never manage to control the things you can to the best of your abilities..

So.. speaking as a driver.. I am invincible. :D
