EDIT! March 9th ACCEPTING ONLY CASH OFFERS NOW UNLESS YOU HAVE SOMETHING DOPE SAUCE TO TRADE!
Just picked this up a few months ago after selling my wrx, but having a change of plans. Had the intentions of building a 350whp+ sleeper but having a change of heart. Seeing what I can trade for. I bought this car from an older asian lady from Arcadia so the interior is damn clean. The whole front end is getting dings pulled and repainted at the shop right now, so it will be pretty pristine. All service maintenance has been done at the dealership and I have all the records given to me. A new oem clutch was installed recently as well by the dealership.

This car is UNMOLESTED and BONESTOCK!

Price needs to be listed, so lets just say 12,500

-2005 subaru legacy gt 2.5l turbo
-5 speed transmission
-bonestock!
-98k freeway miles by an old asian lady, now has 107k
-all maintenance records in hand and done at the dealership
-new clutch and starter
-CLEAN TITLE

trade for more sporty cars or luxurious...equal value only

Hrmmm....very tempting. However, I daily drive about 70 miles a day, so i really have to think this over given the average lifespan of a rotary motor. However, I'm thinking I can always trade it before it ever gets to that.

Were you thinking a straight trade? I have absolutely no funds to add on top.

Haha, trust..with a stage 2 setup and tune (catless dp, catback) you'll have a lot of fun especially in the snow and dirt. Super sleeper. People will get pissed when they think they got smoked by a camry. Definitely a different beast. I like it more than my previous 06 wrx and its a lot more comfortable

I can vouch for Ray and his cars that he's had. I've known him for about 5 years now.

As for the Legacy GT, the 5 speed transmission is highly sought after not only for its rarity but the ability to hold a LOT more power than the WRX 5 speed. I have a friend that has a 550whp daily driven Legacy GT and his stock 5 speed is STOUT.

On my WRX 5 speed I'm on the threshold on torque at 360 ft/lbs and at 330whp before things get dicey on the reliability. If you want a comfortable sleeper that can push out a ton of power (with the right build / parts) this is the car for you.

How is the motor. Any oil consumption issues or leaks. I miss my leggy and might be interested in another one. Your right about the stage two stuff. I never got hassled once and the car tore ass. Super fun. You have the title in hand. Ca Title?

No leaks or any precursors to any known common issues. The motor pulls strong and has actually sounds alot more healthier than my previous 06 wrx when it had the same mileage. I do have the title in hand =)

What offer was this again? I remember your ride and all. But in any case, I'm really looking for something that at least has heat and is more complete. Paint would be nice. Thing is, I need something to pick up some clients in. If you're down to get a cheap paint job, get heat running and a/c, I might then be able to straight trade.

8500 cash money....it's a low ball nut the car has been up a while and 8500 would buy you a decent 240.

No oil consumption issues. Previous owner used dino oil and I never switched her up when I got it. Checked oil regularly for signs of consumption and never had to add between oil changes.

Performed leakdown test and compression test upon purchasing and everything was perfect. Was going to do timing, but dealership told me to wait since everything looked good. No signs of wearing idlers or weird squeeks during idle. Also, no shaft play with the turbo.

Just drove to and from vegas and ran like a champ without any issues other than weird road noise that the all season falkens make (made me paranoid for a moment)

I would but it needs some work. It's going to the body shop soon to do a full Chargespeed aero and repaint. Then the motor is going to be taken out to be refreshed with new piston rings and possible 6-speed.

I wouldn't want you to have to go through all the crap I have to go through with my Subaru.

I would trade in your LGT for the BRZ. Just a thought. :)

Haha you cock tease- I've always wanted a bugeye wagon and I've always jocked your interior. Still thinkin about the brz, but I'll wait a few models and hope they give the motor a little umfff, plus don't want car payments yet since I'm goin back to grad school soon. =/

That may be arranged as long as you come down to socal to check it out first. But, pretty much, this car is spoken for unless the asking price is met
