diff clanks wen making left or right turn?

ok so the diff on my car witch is an lsd diff clanks kinda like a horse galap while making a turn, sometimes it does it some times it does not
bad diff??? or normal wit lsd diffs?

You sure its just a stock VLSD? It might be an aftermarket one without you realizing it or it may have been shimmed.

It's normal if you buy a LSD and just drop it in.

my kaaz lsd used to do that an it was annoying as hell. now i have a welded diff an i like it better lol.

Aftermarket lsd normal if not en no... and whered u go aftrr i left the meet lol

i dont know about all aftermarket lsd's but if its a kaaz, you can adjust when it locks up. you stick a socket into the lsd an there are a certain number of adjustments you can turn it. yours is probably set to full lock. so you will only be able to turn it one way. not sure but you might have to take the lsd out of the housing to do so.

You got 2 options, drop it and double check to verify what kind of diff it is. If it is an aftermarket diff, I'd get it checked out (lash clearance, etc). Or dump the oil out of it and run a thicker oil. I like Royal Purple 75-140. The thicker oil will somewhat muffle the noise.
