haven't seen a thread like this yet, but does anyone ever go back and revisit their old project cars? i get attached to my cars and it hurts me to sell them, until i get the next toy of course:D

Kadron header, Bosch 009 and blue coil, shocks/springs, overbore to 1641cc, hurst shifter, and SUPER rare factory alloys. i miss her :wtc:

#2 - 90 VW Corrado G60. hot car. big maintanance costs.

#3 - 88 VW Scirocco 16v. only had it a few months. paint was faded pink :ghey: traded it for the rabbit.

#4 - 83 VW Rabbit GTi, packing this underhood:

2.1 16v engine w/ twin weber 40DCOE's, diff kit, h&r cup kit (i think???) neuspeed race header, etc etc.... SICK CAR, but too harsh for a daily driver.

#5 - 88 VW Scirocco 16v #2 - this one white, not red. Neuspeed race springs, koni adjustables, BBS rims, neuspeed exhaust...and a metric asston of electrical gremlins :bash:


and after that i got my pignose. woot.

AE82 Corolla. It was gutted and was going to get a 4-AGE, but ultimately I decided I would be better off building a car that would yield better results, which is why I bought my 240.

I miss that car, it was a dope daily banger car for me.

i came so close to dropping a crvtec in that ho instead of buying a 240, kinda glad i didn't, kinda dissapointed i didn't. but past is past, time to concentrate on the nissan.

Pics may be posted some day in the future, but here's my list.

1) 87' Pontiac Sunbird LE ($400 first car EVAR!)

Lasted two great years till the steering column needed replacing at the same time that the head gasket blew. So Ilet it sit w/plates off and it got towed away to death. gg...

2) '90 Nissan Maxima GXE Automagick($3,000 in 2000 with 101k on ODO)

What can I say about the "Four-Door Sports Car"? This thing was pi-ah-IMP... Burgundy on Burgundy Leather, Loaded up the wazzooo... Took me around till the injectors started fuggin up along with over $1,000 worth of other repairs needed. I had an offer to buy a 2002 model car in 2001 that I could not refuse so off it went to trade.

3) '02 Chevy Cavalier Z24 5-speed (got it for a steal and traded maximus for it).

This thing I bought for reliability and daily driving confidence and it DELIVERED. Never had a problem. I then began tuning it up a bit as it would take on any other cavalier and most others cars in it's class that I ever encountered.

- Full exhaust pipes built custom at a friends shop at 2.5"
- Pacesetter Header
- Magnaflow Exhaust
- Custom CAI that dropped down nicely and gave nice gains
- B&M ShortShifter
- Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's
- Some other goodies that I can't remember. (audio systems was an investment of $3k).

All in all it was a nice fun car that along with my street driving skillz would pwn most stock ars in its class. Best kill I had was a 99+ Jetta 1.8T and second place would have to be a 2000+ Celica GTS

Good times... then it was totalled.

4) '87 Cadillac Coupe Deville (loaner from family while I hunted an S13 down).

This pimp worthy ride only had 78k miles on odo when I took it. It was fun and reliable. The subs I added to the trunk made me cope with its huge size and non sport driveability. Mej...

It was still a ghetto fabulous automobile.

5) '90 240SX Coupe LE (the driftAR!)

...... just search my name and read about it. Im not about to sit here and write all that chit down!:D

I pick it up from the shop tomorrow at 4pm, its getting a fresh KA SOHC. Thats about the latest news. Then going to body shop + silvia face.

1) '92 Acura Legend LS
Installed an intake and this is what got me into cars. Unfortunately it was also the family car and my dad got really pissed.

2) '92 240SX fastback (base)
My first car I bought with my own money. Learned to drive stick with this car and the only car I own now.

3) '93 Mazda MX6 (V-6)
Got ripped by a dealer. Not a bad car, but the car had too many problems. Sold.

4) '85 Toyota Corolla GT-S hatchback (hachi-go)
The car had rust, paint was oxided, and a lot of wear and tear. But the car was fun and reliable. Learned to do double clutch and heel & toe with this car.

5) '95 240SX (base)
Was auto, wanted to do a manual swap, but the car was totaled before I could do the conversion. Damn that sucks.

If I could turn back time, I would not had bought car 3, 4, and 5. Should had bought a sr20.
