I have a set of extremely rare Skyline R33 GTR v-spec series 3 seats in gray/red (not gray/blue). These seats are in excellent condition, no tears, stains or major blemishes. There is one imperfection in the foam on the front edge of the right seat, but the cloth is still tightly attached and is barely noticeable. Also, there are a few small scratches on the outer edge of the left seat, which can be seen in pics. No cracks or anything, these seats are almost mint.

These are almost a direct-bolt-on part for the s13/s14 chassis, and only need one small bracket to mount the 4th bolt hole (the other 3 line up). These seats are not only snazzy, but they're also very comfortable, gripping and sit lower than any other non-aftermarket seats. Most r33 gtr seats are gray/blue, but these are from the Series 3 Spec-V and are much rarer and hard to come by. It's unlikely you will find another pair for sale in the US. Plus, you can trust they're safe because they're OEM.

These seats are comprised primarily of a novasuede-type material, but the centers are a perforated suede insert with a red backing and red stitching. Also, in the images the red collar under the headrest is actually a deep, rich crimson (vs the bright red as the images might indicate), and the stitching matches perfectly. There are literally no hidden stains, rips, cuts, foreign smells, etc. These seats have been very well maintained, and feel very high-quality and durable, yet also maintain their lightness.

$1000 shipped to the lower 48, no trades

Tein Super Drift coilovers for an s13. SOLD

I never stated that wasn't my set. Tell me, when you go to Walmart, do you ask them, "Hey, did you guys pay less for this shampoo than you're charging me?" If anything, I'd be stupid not to say that was my set because obviously, if I stated (as I did in my original post) that nobody could find another set because they're so rare and bam, there was just a set on ebay last week, my statement would only remain true if that were the same set as mine.

Honestly, I bought that exact pair off ebay because I saw them and I had the business sense to snatch up something rare. What else would you like to know? My original post stands firm in its unedited state, as it shall because I still testify you won't find another pair of these anywhere this mint. Period.

I'm a legitimate businessman. You won't find a single person who has said I did them wrong, I ensure every person with which I have a transaction is completely satisfied, even if I have to pay for it, and it's always been that way. I find items that seem rare, and if I like it and think it could be a could profit maker, I buy it.

But good job on the detective work.

edit: ironically, when I went to check that seat for this mysterious "stain" I hadn't noticed before, I saw it was only the direction the suede was brushed. I'll take closeups of that cushion tomorrow for verification.

But good job on the detective work. While you were busy in ms paint, I was out all night with my beautiful girlfriend having the time of my life. So since she just hopped off my nuts I know there's definitely no room for you up there bud. PM me if you want me to describe what it's like to actually be with a woman.

I agreed with you until this point. Don't be a fucking douche. It's usually the point that aren't actually getting anything or that are dating some fat broad that feel the need to tell everyone about them getting laid

Sorry guys, it's frustrating when I go to sell something and the hardy boys chime in with useless info that only attempts to thwart my sale for no reason. I don't respond well to attacks such as these. It is interesting, on a side note, that I'm the douchebag in the situation for commenting off the cuff about being with a girl, when the instigator literally did spend half his night doing quasi-elaborate detective work to piece all that together as he did, and to what end? What's the intention here? I see only malice.

No offense to anyone here, but I rarely sell items to zilvia members as it is; however I always want to give people the option so I go ahead and list it here. I know some zilvia members have similar taste to mine, but every time I have to deal with idiots who post useless info that only hurts my sale thread and I have no control over the situation.

You might not appreciate my "immature" comment, but it doesn't change how I do business, and it doesn't change the quality of the seats.

Ok, first of all, the way you do "business" is not really appreciated by people who bust their ass and do all they can, like myself, to save and put all the money they can into their car because they love to do it, and are passionate about it. When you go and buy this pair of seats for $600 or $775, or whatever the hell you got them off ebay for, and then turn around and put them up for $1000.... I can tell you right now, there are alot of people that do not agree with that. Not because they have nothing else to do with their lives, or because they happen to know how to use paint, and do their research, which I would do for sure if I was debating on dropping $1000 on a used set of seats with a big stain. But because maybe they would really like to have that set of seats, because they are "rare" (but definitly not $1000 rare)..But when they see that they could have got them for $775, or $750, They get mad... $775 is not just pocket change to some of us enthusiasts who are married and have kids, once again like myself. $775, let alone, $1000 is quite a bit of money.. But as a "business man" you just see that as a chance for profit, like you said. And I dont think zilvia is the place for your kind of "business". and I dont think comparing zilvia to walmart makes a whole lot of sense. Alot of people would really like to have this set of seats, but now you'll be lucky to find someone to go anywhere near your asking price..I know I wouldnt. Not trying to "attack" you, just trying to explain that they way you did this with these seats is not right. and Im pretty sure there are very few people who agree with the way your conducting your "business" on zilvia. Maybe you have sold a couple things on here, and had positive feedback, but you got caught this time. :nono:

All I see in your post is "I can't afford them, so I'm going to be mad and flame because I can't afford them." Please keep your comments to yourself, plenty of people want something nice like this, and my business methods are no different from any other business in the world, except for the fact that I'm completely honest about what I do and I try to find things people would really like to own but don't have the resources and time to sit and search for them. I bought these seats, I took a risk that they weren't stained or nasty or broken or trashed, so I took all the initial risk that nobody here has to take because I guarantee everything I sell.

If you don't like me finding rare parts and marketing them here, please feel free to never open a single thread I start. But I intend to continue searching for rare things people would be happy to spend money on because they know they're getting a rare, quality part. Most people know I'm making money off something I sell and still don't care because they know it's worth my asking price.

If the seats aren't worth $1k to you, fine. But they're worth $1k to me, so I'm sure they might be worth that much to someone else as well. In the meantime they're going into my pristine sapphire blue coupe.

Alright, updated pics of the supposed infected area. As I said before, there's no stain, only the way the suede was brushed. If you take a look at the original images that 240sxkouki is blowing his reputation over, you'll see he stretched to come up with similarities in the first place, but his outline actually creates the similar-looking pattern, it wasn't already there to begin with. I'm still not sure why my thread is being blown up like this, I really had more faith in this site than that.

I brushed my fingers on the suede so you can see, it's suede, not a stain.

First of all, No, they are not worth $1000 to me, to you maybe, but perhaps thats because your worried about how much your making off them. Thats why they will probably stay in your "pristine blue coupe" untill you repost them with a "honest" price. Second, Its not that I cant afford it, which I cant, but its the way you did it that pissed me off, third, Im not the one that took the time to research, and compare the two pictures in paint and post them, I simply quoted the post that was put up with the pictures of the two seats, so your wrong there. fourth, I will not open another thread from you, fifth, good job cleaning the spot. Sixth, if you are "completlely honest", then ask for an honest price, thats why your thread is being blown up. and Finally, good luck trying to sell these. Im sure you will, but not for a grand.

You are right, to a degree. He can post them for what he wants. But I think we know he will not get near that. Im not mad at him, I just dont like that he tried to cover it up, and sneak his way to a HUGE profit. Like I said, Good luck, seriously, and I hope he does sell them. And if he gets $1000, he can tell me "I told you so" and I will be just fine.

Ok here it is: the breakdown of the past 3 weeks, for everyone's amusement.

3 weeks ago I discovered these seats on ebay. I thought hm, those look pretty cool, I'll watch these and see how soon they sell." I watched them for 2 weeks, no interest. I figured, chances are, nobody is searching ebay for skyline seats, plus they were market poorly. Just over a week ago, my dad hands me some cash for Christmas money. I decide shoot, there's really not a lot I want right now, might as well offer the bloke some cash for those seats to see if he's interested in my offer.

He was. I couldn't get much info about their condition other than from the ebay sale ad, but they looked to be in ok condition so I figured it was worth the gamble. I wanted something nice for my s13 dd, and most options for that price range are aftermarket buckets, which tend to hurt my back and I'm not a fan of aftermarket reclineables, so oem was my only option and no offense, but I don't really appreciate many of Nissan's oem seat designs.

Fast forward to yesterday, when they come in the mail. I unwrapped everything and noticed the craftmanship of the seats and thought, I wonder why I haven't read more on the forums about these being a viable option for replacing the stock seats. So I did some research, saw that there are gtr seats being sold here and there, but there was never a pair of the gray/red series 3 seats for sale in the US that I could uncover, they were all the gray/blue versions, the nicer of which I noted sold for around $850/pair shipped.

I had found several sets in Australia for sale over the years, but nothing current. Still, with the currency conversion rate you'd spend $850 on a pair and still have to pay for shipping and customs, plus you have to take the risk of doing business with someone on another continent in a completely opposite time zone and hope they're trustworthy and the seats were in good condition to begin with, let alone once they arrive from being shipped.

So I thought, while I'm enjoying these in my dd, maybe someone out there is putting together a really clean 240sx chassis, however unusual that might be nowadays, and would want something show-worthy but still capable of being in a dd. Which brings me to my post, taking into consideration that a nice set of the first-gen r33 gtr seats goes for $850 shipped, why not just add another $150 for rare factor and post em for sale in case someone happens to be interested.

I'm not worried about making money off them. They're amazing seats and I'd be glad to own them forever. But everything has a pricetag nowadays, with the economy we're in, and as I've maintained all along, I'm a standup person and my transactions are always positive for both parties.

I never cleaned the spot. I haven't cleaned a single thing on these seats since I got em, I didn't have to. You can tell by looking at them they've hardly been sat in, and if you really need me to explain how light affects suede in photos then I'd say the internet probably isn't for you.

And I never implied those weren't my seats, I only indicated he should have gotten in on them when they were cheaper. I was never sneaky about anything, I believe I was pretty up front about everything from the first post. And I sell things and trade things a lot, and all along the way people tell me I can't get what I ask for something. But I sold a NA Z32 for $12k, an s14 kouki for $11k, and plenty of other cars and parts for "more than they're worth" because the truth is, I make people feel at peace about things because I'm an honest person, all you have to do is google me to see I take care of people. I only make a profit when someone else is also gaining from it. PERIOD

Again, all this boils down to is the fact that I've been completely open about these seats, to the best of my ability, I'm a standup guy and great to do transactions with but you have a stick in your butt because you can't afford them and you could have gotten them cheaper if you'd have thought to check ebay. So please, be done hijacking my thread with this nonsense, as much as I appreciate the herpes (free bumps), I really don't need it.

Once again this all reverts back to a lock thread about prices or parts/cars.....

U got 2 types of sellers.... The one who knows the true value and knows he/she will not get close to what has been spent on parts, labor, sweat, and tears...

And you got the one that tries to sell a 400 item or 2000$ car (just an arbertrary number) for double or triple just cause it has zomg rare parts and a set of rims.

It goes the same for sellers... U got buyers and you got suckers.. at the end of the day it is his item to sell. He can sell em for as much. as he wants, eventually either a sucker comes around or he will sit on em for soong, he will dramatically drop the price.

I think my k office coilovers are hella rare, espcially being mint. But I don't think they are 1800 rare. Why, cause there are just as good coils or better for NEW for less. Your seats are rare and just like you felt they wwre rare, the previous owner probably thought so too. But he knew true market value for a used and old item. I can spend 1000 and get a 15+ yr old seat that has been jdm taxed like a boss or spend around the same for new sparco seats...

What you feel they are worth and what they are really worth are 2 different things. Gotta find a balance to sell things, but lime It's been said over and over.... "A sucker is born every second"

Thanks, but I still don't think it's appropriate to say that someone buying these nice seats for my asking price makes them a "sucker". The previous owner barely spoke English and received these seats in a container from Japan and had no idea their value or rarity.

Again, if I find a rare part, I market it for sale, but I rarely purchase something I don't appreciate myself. Thus, it's always ok if I never sell an item, because I never buy something I'm not alright keeping.

I have a list of things I'm particularly interested. In the past decade I've been known for piecing together the 94-96 oem suede interior panels for the Z32. Some sets I've grabbed pieces from all over the world to piece together a full set, then I sell the whole set for $1k and made some cash. I highly doubt any z32 owner would mind spending that for OEM panels, which are available on any leather interior z32 300zx from 94-96 in the US but are still particularly a pain to find in decent condition. I retrofitted a set of leather seats from a hyundai tiburon into a z32 and s13/s14 chassis. I love interiors, I can't explain why but regardless I'm constantly looking for things to make an interior nicer.

Any car enthusiast who also thinks the s13 interior is a little chintz, wouldn't mind spending a little money to have a photo-worthy interior. Nobody could argue these seats would fit perfectly in a well-executed interior. And for those saying "eh, maybe $800 or so," the reality is, there is a such thing as a local economy, and in the southeast US values for 240sx chassis and parts in good condition pull a premium because, I guess, people down here just don't mind spending money on their cars to actually make them nice. So not to offend everyone here saying I can't pull $1k for these seats, but you really don't know what you're talking about because someone that's looking for the nicest of the nice (and these are nicer quality and sexier then any sparcos) who truly wants to enjoy his or her interior, will not mind spending some cash on something they couldn't just call up frsport to order once they have the cash saved up.

I live in Florida and those seats would pull around the price you got them for lol. But to each their own .. good luck on the sale.
