HICAS Steering wheel swap

I've read that hicas equipped models can't be replaced w/ aftermarket steering wheels?
is this true ? if so why?
also what can it be swapped with? stock steering wheels? or only other HICAS steering wheels?

Ive heard this hub works on the HICAS models, but most sellers say it dosent work. Not a bad price to try and find out for yourself. I guess the Tabs/Nipples/Dimples are dif size in the HICAS model. Thats what I have heard... dont know 100%

well the reason im asking is because im planning on getting a HICAS model but the steering wheel is all crustified so I want to know my options.. I was planning on swapping a stock SW, but if I can't even do that im skewd

Look for a nismo one. Im sure they make one... just hard to find.
