1989 240SX SE hatchback Red.
Reason for selling is because I'm back in school and do not have the time to work on the car. I will also be moving out of my current house at the end of the month, so who ever shows up with cash takes it.
CHASSIS:
-213,XXX miles on the current gauge cluster. I bought the car from the previous owner with supposedly 150K on the chassis. The old cluster was replaced with a dual cam cluster when I replaced the engine.
-Has a very straight frame, clean underpanel, and no signs of accidents.
-Small dings here and there. will be easy to fill in when prepping for paint.
-Majority of the car is still paint from the factory. With the exception of the roof and hatch, which was painted black by one of the previous owners for some reason..
ENGINE:
-93 KA24DE 5 Speed
-re-freshened/ mildly ported
-Both cams are exhaust cams
-INJEN intake
-DC Sport 4-2-1 Headers
-High flow cat
-MEGAN 3in exhaust piping with a TRUST muffler
-Lightweight flywheel and Exedy clutch
-Simplified and semi-tucked engine harness
-Spare 97 KA24DE and 5 Speed transmission
Engine runs strong and cranks up everytime. Very responsive
SUSPENSION:
-HAWK HPS brake pads front and rear (Only been on the car for less than 500 miles)
-S14 front lower control arms with S13 balljoints pressed in (Adds 20mm of track width to the front)
-S14 Kouki rear subframe( Identical to S15 subframes, fixes the suspension geometry when car is lowered and adds 20mm of width to the rear. Will require an adaptor bushing set also sold by SPL)
-S14 diff in pumpkin(possibly a VLSD since it came out of a ABS equipped S14, which all supposedly had VLSDs)
-Unknown brand lowering springs and rear upper control arms
-Spare stock S13 and S14 arms
INTERIOR:
-Clean black interior with uncracked dashboard
-Carpet is in great condition
-Glowshift A/F ratio, oil pressure, and water temp meters (not connected to the sensors right now)
-Toby Broadfield(from zilvia) center air vent delete gauge holder for the meters above.
-SIGNAL AUTO white shift knob
-Unknown brand short shifter
-Rear hatch privacy cover
EXTRAS:
-I have a couple of bins sitting in my basement with random interior, engine, and exterior parts
-You can have everything 240 related in my house
THE BAD:
-Bypassed HVAC so no heat or AC at the moment (all of the underdash HVAC equipment will be included, however the blower will need to be replaced since there is a crack in the plastic.)
-Battery does not hold any juice, not sure if because of a bad ground or if the battery has crapped out.
-Needs an alignment, and rear tires. Was going to do next along with the S14 suspension upgrade.
-Paint, it's not busted by all means, but its no show car either. With a new coat of paint, wheels, and coilovers this car will be looking and performing very nicely
-Steering wheel has no center piece, therefore no horn
-Needs someone who can enjoy her =[
