View Full Version : fuel pump went poop and tag light kill switch

I turn my key to on II postion. Don't here the pump prime. I can start it and it will idle, if I give it gas it can't go above 1500 rpm. Is the Fuel pump just about dead and works enough to idle, or could it be electrical?

Also, a friend and I are arguing a ka's firing order. Its 1-3-4-2, he says no. Everyone tell him he's wrong. #1 on dizzy to cyl 1, 2on dizzy to cyl2 , 3dizzy to cyl3 an 4dizzy to cyl4 correct?

At the moment I have no tag lights, I want to wire them to a kill switch. I have to do the wiring myself. How would I go about this?

As for the rev cut.. Check your maf.

wiring- why the hell do you want to wire your tail lights to a switch

fuel pumps either work or they don't
sometimes, Walbro ones come to mind, they make noise to tell you they're about crap out

What this guy said /\ but check the hose between the fuel pump and hardline inside the tank. I've had that little hose get soft and blow up on me with the same symptoms.
