I was looking at purchasing a steering wheel for my coupe. I was thinking of the MOMO competition i think it is, its fairly cheap and looks decent, i was wondering if anyone had any use with this steering wheel or knows of any fairly cheap wheels that look nice and have a nice feel to them? How much would a hub run me?

I think all momo steering wheel feel nice. My friend has momo competition in his car and it feels pretty nice. I also like momo runner steering wheel. I has good grip and a stock look.

I dont really like my steering wheel...It slips when my hands get sweaty. But for daily driving, i think stock steering wheel is fine. But if your going to competition driving like autox, upgrading the steering is a better idea than upgrading just hp. I mean its always better to have better control of your car.

is there a spacer that will fit the stock steering wheel? i just hate how it is so far in... (sucks for tall people)
I had a Momo Millenium and it looked good, but the peices of silver were plastic and for a $250 wheel id expect much more. I sold it and never isntalled it.
I want this Nardi wheel below, but I have a HICAS model and I dont think any hub that I know will work for me. :(

oooh HKB, not sure
might be hit and miss depending which version (type) you get..pink or green box and what its for
nismo would be the 'safest' and guarantee bet.

I know that Lindsay said his didn't have the horn contact on the back of the hub and mine does (pink box), I don't know which he had but I'm gonna take a shot in the dark and say that maybe the pink box ones can use the horn. Stupid horn is gonna get disconnected anyways. I'm still having trouble with it.
To continue on about the steering wheels. I have a 360mm Nardi Competition. The steering wheel is very well crafted, however the outer ring diameter is pretty skimpy and not really that easy to grip. I'd highly recommend gloves for sporty driving. I believe most of the Momos are designed for sport in mind, so most are probably pretty good. The Nardis came stock in a lot of old Itallian sports cars... also came stock in the JDM FD3S RZ (I think that's the trim)... so basically what I'm saying is that when it comes down to it... pretty much a stock intended steering wheel.

go buy it from phase2
jspec is a business.
you dont walk into Ralphs (supermarket) and ask them to match the price of a container of milk that's cheaper over at Vons (supermarket) or if the candy is more expensive at 7-11 they wont match the price at Wal-Mart.
piss off cheapskate.

To try to be of some help.... I just got the momo competition steering wheel, and although it is not installed on my car yet, I really like both the look and feel of it. It is a nice size, and very high quality. I have driven a car with a momo steering wheel before and was very happy with the experience.
Hope this helps....

From my experience, the wheels with all the bumps, and dips, and contours are comfortable for daily driving, but if you do any sport driving (auto-x, drifting, etc) where you have to move your hands fast, the bumps just get in the way.
My next steering wheel will have a suede gripping surface, and be about 330mm. Will likely get one with a straight indicator.
probably something like this:

The MOMO competition is a very nice wheel though.

the momo wheel like that is the wheel used in all the porsche race cars. i sat in the white "HP Invent" GT3 that porsche runs, and i love that wheel. its call the Mod-03, looks almost exactly the same as that sparco, but i believe its 350mm
