Looking to trade my clean '95 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited (V8, 4x4). Clean title in hand, 120k miles, current registration and tags. Runs good. Leaks a little oil, but has never let me down. It's my daily driver, and I'm looking for a car now...

Since I have to put a comparative price point, I say my Jeep is worth approximately $3000 OR BEST OFFER. That is much cheaper than most Jeep's in this condition. I priced it lower due to the slow oil leak, to make you happy. ;)

I'm looking for really anything RWD and "smogged." However, I really want a S13 Hatchback

Let me know what you got! I care more about performance then beauty, but would still like a semi-clean car. MUST HAVE TITLE AND REGISTRATION/SMOG. I really just want a RWD car, so please throw all your offers my way! Note: I will not throw cash on top... If anything, I would like your car to be worth less, and you throw a little more on top. But, a straight trade would be great as well, and I'm willing to take a loss on my price to some degree.

I'm located in the 951 area.
PM me if you're interested. And if you're serious, then leave your number and I'll text you back.
Thanks for looking!

This is the only picture I have available at the moment:

Do you have some more pics? Do you know why it leaks oil? I know its a v8 but how is it on gas?

It's a V8 with all time four wheel drive, so it gets a little over 13 MPG. :ugh: But, I'm not being super easy on the throttle, either. I'm sure someone with a tamer foot would achieve higher MPG.

I believe it leaks oil from the valve cover. The reason for that, is because Chrysler never put a gasket on them. It appears to be a common problem with these Jeep's. I was told you can buy the "gasket in a tube" type product and put it on, but I've never done any of the work on this vehicle myself, and I don't want to (imports are so much easier to work on)...

I'll add a few older photos to the first post. If I remember tomorrow, I'll take some current ones and upload them.

Thanks for the interest!

Really? I've never heard of such a thing. Besides, I personally like having 4x4. :wiggle:

90% of the grand cherokees have full time 4wd...ever drive something in 4wd on pavement?? The tires scrub when you turn. Wears out tires quicker and wastes fuel.

And personally I like having 4wd as well. ..was just stating the front driveshaft could be removed for a little better mileage for th guy who was wondering about mileage with a v8.

Got ya... I never thought about removing the driveshaft. I'll be sure to pass that information on. Thanks!

And yes, it is sometimes annoying hearing the tires screech due to 4wd. lol. But, it sure is fun on the rocks...! :naughty:

Wrong. It's called quarda trac dummy. Not 4wd. The reason being is there are clutches in the tcase to allow front and rear to spin separate of each other. At any rate quadra trac on these have a rear wheel bias and the only gain you will see is loosing 5-6lb front driveshaft. Not only that but this is not a quadra trac model so removing the driveshaft will do nothing but stop the circulation of fluid in the tcase since its not a vacuum activated axle

@Andrew600: It is the Quad-Trac system, so what you're saying makes perfect sense to me, and that's why I was confused when he mentioned that... It uses the Viscous Coupler design, like you were saying.

Thanks for the bumps! :D

Hello. I'm selling my Clean Title (in my name) '95 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. It has the rare 5.2L V8, automatic transmission with Quad-Trac (AWD), 4x4 low (works great), and all leather with the Infinity Gold sound system package, with a Pioneer head unit with iPod/AUX support. Has 120K original miles, and tags are good until summer. Never been in a wreck, and has always been well taken care of (was owned by on older lady before me). The only downside is that it leaks a little oil, but that's never been a problem for me. And the heat shield rattles (which is common for Jeeps). Other then that, the A/C works, but needs a recharge. Last year I had the rear differential rebuilt and axles replaced (cost me a grand). The 4x4 works great! I've had a lot of fun in this Jeep, but I really want a car... If you have a 5speed Mustang or RX7 that you would like to trade me for, please let me know!

I feel my price reflects the flaws in my Jeep, but if you don't think so, feel free to throw me your best offers! My car is legit, and has never had any shady work done to it like many of the cars down here... You'll believe me when you see it. (EDIT: ) PM me if interested!
