Can't wait to post all these queued up exotics.
I really never care about riding in cars, but the ride in THIS car, was FUCKING insane. I've never actually screamed in a car cause i was scared, but because it was SO MUCH FUN. Rev limiter bounces in 1st gear, pure boners.

only critique is that you're kind of shooting girls like you would cars.
doesn't really translate so well

be softer with lighting choices and don't pp the shadow detail so much

car photos look great, tho

Not making an excuse, but i only had a 2 light set up on that, trust me, it should have been done with 5 to 7.

I have been shooting weddings for 2 years now and I DO NOT RECOMMEND using a flash ON CAMERA.
I shoot all Natty light throughout the Prep and ceremony, plus its a MASSIVE distraction at the ceremony to see someone with a TTL flash.

The only time I am going to use flash is for the formals, and reception , and they will be off camera, NO ONE wants a nasty direct TTL flash in their face, I can't even begin to explain HOW MANY people shoot direct TTL flash at people and think it looks good, it really destroys the wedding photography community. Its going to be a MUST that you use off camera lighting at the reception so your able to results such as..

You might wanna get a 35 1.8 seeing that your own a crop body, the 50 will be around a 75ish and its just to close.
I would recommend that you use the 55-200 for the ceremony, and which to the 35 after they come down the aisle.

Use the macro for ring shots, be creative and watch your horizons, meaning keep the camera level and never tilt more than 13 degrees left or right.
Don't forget to shoot details!

Remember, keep calm, it isn't your wedding, no reason to ever get nervous.

we have a ton of them and they work flawlessly, TTL flashes are over kill in most situations.

We are working on that as we speak :)
Me and partner did a live stream with Cisco system and it was quite successful, it was really cool, when you would talk, it would take your face, move it up to the front of the screen while the others listen.

Were going to something even better, always trying to push the envelop!

Ah they look fine, they are just "flat" lighting.
Which basically means, you have to position the flashes to shape the person, but 2 at 45 is always your best bet if you're unsure about flash placement.

Don't forget to pick up some 2 dollar umbrellas from amazon, they make a night and day difference.

Shot food for Dave & Busters new Asian menu. These will obviously be cropped, retouched and published in a menu format, really excited to see this all over the US.

The food was amazing for anyone wondering, I would highly recommend the Dumplings, the sauce has a shot of Tyku sake in it infused with citrus etc etc. Good eats for sure.

What am I setting my exposure to, the ambient light in the back ground or the fill light of the flash?

Thats a great question to ask, the trick with strobes is balancing ambient and flash.
I PERSONALLY like to leave a little less ambient so i am able to dodge and burn the highlights and background, analyzing this shot, the shutter speed is actually too low, which makes it almost look like you never used a flash.

I recommend to stay over 1/60 and in the day time i would shoot my max sync which should be 1/250 for you. Remember, shutter speed DOES NOT AFFECT FLASH unless you go above 1/320 and you will start to get black lines.
Aperture and ISO will be relative to flash brightness on your subject.

Burn Tool to Darken?

I just want to say you have helped me out alot, and this weekend i was so worried that i would not be able to use my flashes to get decent pictures. I think i have the basic concept down now. I have a few pic for you to check out.
They have only been WB with some lighting changes in Lightroom.

To be critical about this photo, the lighting is great, but the actual photo is kinda bleh, the dude on the left really ruined, but good job on the lighting porition of it, don't be afraid to use noise reduction in LR4 also, does wonders.

Great lighting, shutter speed was wayyy to fast, open it up to let some ambient in.
Tint is a little to the green side.

Suburb lighting though. Looks attractive and dynamic.

So got some new goodies finally, got my new bigger EFR and couldnt be happier, its almost like a V8

Borg Warner EFR 6258 with Modified V-Band housing
1000cc Injectors
Custom Fuel rail by Suspicious Garage
Apexi Power FC D-Jetro
Tomei Type-L FPR

Did my 1st drift comp, placed top 8. Only car in top 8 to have no cage, kinda lucky they even let me run.
I feel like the call for my 2nd match up was HIGHLY unfair. Especially that the fact was that here was money prize money involved. I am not making excuses and Sylas can vouch, but the lead car slowed down so much, when I pulled my e brake to keep my "drift" it caused me to "straighten out" or I WOULD have hit him. I have TONS of tandem seat time and I absolutely know when I am going to hit someone, and that was definitely a moment where my butthole puckered. Apparently the judges thought I had tapped him or something but either way I got docked points. On MY lead run, I knew I went full honey baked hormel HAM. But I'm sure the call was made as soon as i lined up. Oh well, here are some pics, i will have some others of the new set up as well.

Hey man, been looking at your pics. Charles is doing a great job of explaining the technical side of things to you and i can see the improvement in your photos, I would recommend starting to pay more attention to your backgrounds. There are mergers in a lot of your pictures that are very distracting. for example in this one there is a tree growing out of the kid. either photoshop the tree away or take 3 steps to the left so its not growing from his head. :D keep up the practice man!

and Charles, great pics! has been very inspiring. I have been shooting photos for about a year now and been going to school full time learning. Recently I have resparked my interest in automotive and im pretty excited to start shooting cars.

Thank you :) This was a quick and dirty test shot straight out of the camera, no edit. I literally got the stands out, placed them in my driveway, told my son to come out and took 3 shots. I wasnt looking for a perfect picture, Im more or less hitting him up for lighting tech. (since im new to off camera flash) and not finished product stuff. You do model shoots?
to what extent.
A good friend of mine is in Phoenix (I just got back from visiting there today), and she is looking to break into the industry. Any tips, or want to do a shoot?
She is very photogenic. I can send you some pics via txt. Just shoot me a P.M.
