View Full Version : replacing clutch master cylinder

I'm in the process of changing out my clutch master cylinder as it was constantly pulling in air. now i have no problem getting the right nut off of the stud, but the left nut is set somewhat behind the brake booster. is it 100% necessary to remove the booster just to change the master out or is there another way. thanks in advance.

NO, im guess its a 240 u need the proper tools

Invest in Flex Head Ratcheting Wrenches
They really come in handy often...

Agreed,you dont have to take it off,it can be done with even basic tools

Take the reservoir off the clutch master and it's easy.
