I'm sure lots of you have.

Are these coilovers any good? I've never heard of them before, although I might not be hardcore enough

Doubt you could get them rebuilt in the US as they don't have a distributor in the states.

I'd love to get the Tein HE's that are planned in my future, but $600 seems rather hard to beat.

Thoughts on this guys?

Yeah...so even if he can prove they are related, I doubt you could get them rebuilt for a reasonable amount of money, if you even could.

I'll snicker when these people ordering 9/7 spring rates for daily drivers start blowing their dampers and need them rebuilt.

I think I'll pay the extra $400-600 and get something I know is quality. Worth paying extra to get the job done right the FIRST time. :)

GENERAL FYI about the Mookeehs

I emailed the guy selling them on ebay and I believe he said they are 8k and 6k respectively. Also, I THINK they are made in Korea.

Nobody is buying these yet on ebay, so you probably could get them for the minimum bid ($519.00 + $80 S&H). They are for S13 only evidently.

According to that guy crzycav86 who's doing the GB, he's getting those coilovers from Taiwan. I don't believe that everything that comes from Taiwan is necessarily crap. However, I agree with ucfz31s13 that if you're going to buy coilovers, might as well spend that extra $400-$500 and get something that's well known. For example, Tein and Tanabe are both very reputable Japanese companies with good quality control.

Tein Basics are not that much more.

The old addage that you get what you pay for is true.

I'm reserving anymore comments about this till after the GB is over. Then we'lll see what happens. $600 is alot of money for me. I'm not gonna waste it on some unknowen product.
