Hey, I'm fairly new to the site (but not to Nissans, or S-chassis), and I'm selling off my S12 to finance switching to a new S13. Don't get me wrong, I love my old S12, but it's becoming more than I can afford to maintain.
So, I'm looking for an S13 hatch in the D/FW area, that at least runs, and has a 5-speed gearbox, with an interior that rates higher than burned-out on your personal scale.
But the real crux of the matter is, I don't have a lot to spend, and my most valuable asset is the S12, and more importantly, the CA18DET I'm pulling from under its hood. Unfortunately, I don't have any offers on buyers for the engine, and the guy interested in the S12 won't be around for a couple weeks.
That said, this CA is worth a fair bit, if I know my way around the previous owner's modifications. I am definitely willing to trade for a fair-condition car, with a high-mileage KA-E that has a blown head gasket, though.
This probably isn't gonna pan out, but nothing ventured, nothing gained, am I right?
