i reieved a 96 zenki back in september for my birthday. its been in and out of shops ever since!! I had the ka rebuilt the first week owning it, the people didn't know what the fuck they were doing and ended up blowing it up. also ruining the new turbo! so i bought a Sr20det, had it shipped all the way from florida to a well known garage in kansas city, mo. the dude has had it since wednesday, hes been looking it over making sure it runs perfectly. he tore the tranny down and replaced the clutch. so back to the thread topic! i'm getting very impatient not having my car! in these last months i have dumped about 6 grand in getting it fixed up and have only driven it one day since ive bought it! he says that the car should be done in about 1-2 weeks AHHHHHH what should i do to keep myself from running into a steak knife. Anyone? help!

I would start by studying harder in your english class. Maybe then you would use some grammar.

An SR20 swap should take about 2-3 days.
Do the work yourself, it can be done with simple hand tools and you can even rent an engine lift.
The first time ever doing an engine swap in a 4-cylinder car, by myself, in a backyard on dirt, was an SR20 and it took me three days.

Ya it was a two or three day ordeal. I went through the same shit when I was 16 and had a shop put a rb in my s13. Took them 6 months and thousands of dollars on shit I didn't need and him frying my ecu. I've done a few swaps myself now and never takes over the weekend.

1. Go up to the shop.
2. Proceed to completely remove the motor, then reinstall it yourself.
3. ????
4. Profit

Wow:eek3::werd:
Order one more part for each day you have to wait to pick it up. When you finally get the car back, get to know it by spending time with it and putting these parts on it.
By the sound of it, you really need to get acquainted with it. This is a good way to do so.

first off you should have brought it to me haha, but seriously you need to be careful what shops you give your car to, make sure the locals have good thing to say about that shop. Are you kcdrift.com? if not join up and and come out to the meets. im Rolando_JDM on there

You could get a girlfriend, invest in creating low-grade explosives and trying to enter an airport, write your congressman, or perhaps start a blog, as this thread has NOTHING to do with
