There is a thread here somewhere where a guy actually replaced his with springs he matched at an ace hardware I believe. He said it was a noticable difference between the two. Not sure how long they felt like that though, but for roughly 10 I think I'm going to try it as well.

Anyone have any feedback on these?

bought one of these on the last thread. Decent quality with a noticeable difference in throw. Some people say it rattles but mine doesn't....which makes me think they are installing it wrong? don't know how that would happen because it only goes in one way. Anyhow I would recommend the buy....

It's strange because some people say that they have a rattling issue and others don't. I would just try to install the shifter with all original rubbing housings to try and eliminate as much noise as possible.

It seems to be about the same length as the stock shifter. The design of the bottom part of the shifter allows for shorter shifts.

how are they compared to the b n m short shifter/nismos? they're obviously a big difference on the prices, but some feedback will defintely help. thanks!

These are very similar to B&M short shifters in design and performance. Here are some quotes from other people in past threads.


Was going to make a write up and pst all the pictures, but got lazy. Shifter is great, no noises. Sloppy shifter is gone. But have fun lowering your trans to get to the two front bolts lol. But I say do it.

installed mine and drifted with it today.. its really nice.. much better than the sloppy oem. only complaint is the thick honed metal piece around the shifter rattles on the highway.

I've not had any rattling issues? I've had one since the day this was made. I love it. A millions times better then that sloppy ass oem shit

Ok so i realized if you zip tie or clamp the rubber boot to the thick metal piece it doesnt rattle anymore. The rubber takes the vibration.

Just got mine in today and must I say... Damn this is quality shit. It's identical to the Isis shifter.. Literally. Damn good price and I'm satisfied.

Thanks for the awesome deal on the shifter! Installed it yesterday (finally) and i have NO complaints. It does rattle at cruising speeds and whatnot but its nothing some music cant cover up.. this thing is definitely comparable to the B&M one but id say its not as stiff as the B&M. Definitely a great buy. My friend is trying to get one but you guys ran out? lol
