I ran a search, nothing seemed to help.

90 240 coupe, SOHC, 180k.

Starter is new (replaced about 6 months ago). Battery is good.

The starter clicks, but the engine won't turn. Nothing, nada. I could get it started when I first got it, but only occasionally. I would have to turn the key about 98 times to get it to start. Now it just clicks. The electric seatbelts jerk or will slide into place completely. There is a loud click from the armrest/tranny area when I turn the key.

Plugs are new, and gapped properly. I cleaned the TB, checked the starter relay, the MAF is clean. All the connections I can find are clean and solid.

I reckon its a grounding issue. But all the grounds I can find are good. Battery terminals clean, starter ground good. Battery ground to block clean. I can't find any other grounds to the block or the body. Injector grounds are all good (I could only find 2, it looks like the first one has its own, the rest are all attached to the same point). The injector closest to the front of the car hisses and sprays gas when jiggled (not good, I know) Could this be part of the inability to start?

Where are the main grounds at? Search only turned up locations for a S14.

What is the deal?

BTW the car is a beater/project/$250 why-the-hell-not. It hasn't run in at least 2 months. I have about 2 days before I call the Salvation army to haul it off.

Any help is appreciated.
