So Im in the process of trying to wire my fans up properly and I purchased a Pre set fan control electric wiring kit from advance. Well I know where all the wires go but two.

First one says it needs a 12 volt key activated circuit. Where can I find the in the engine bay?

And the second one, it says, "Connect the green wire to the power wire leading the the A/C clutch. It can be used with a toggle switch as a manual override if the vehicle does not have AC." (which I dont) So what does it mean by just hook it up to a toggle switch?

on my car i tapped into the relay box for pretty much every wire.

the "green a/c" wire goes on the condenser fan relay, the "red power wire" goes to the battery, the yellow switched ignition power goes to any wire that turns on when the key is on.. i hooked up to the Fuel pump relay. it doesnt take any power away from the fuel pump, its just the activation signal. im sure there are several other spots you could pick up the signal from.

Just run a wire from the fans to your cigarette lighter 12v that's how I have mine

Im want to avoid having to run wires each and every way. Do yall know of a wire in the bay that has power when the key is on? And I know the green wire is for a/c but I dont have that. Thats why I asked if any knows what it mean by hooking it up as a toggle switch as a manual override.

If you don't have AC, but still have the relay. Use the AC relay to provide the 12v key on power. Then figure out if the Override trigger is ground or positive wire accordingly.
