1998 240SX SE with original manual transmission. Original color and interior.

EXCELLENT SHAPE, NEEDS LITTLE TO BE PERFECT.

I am the third adult owner buying the car in 2004 at 70k miles, the car has 132k on it currently.

Interior is in great shape with only a little split and some nicks from the seat belt on the drivers door.

Add in your choice of engine swap and have an awesome ride. I was going to do the LS2 and 6 speed swap but my job has changed and I needed a more practical car.

The parts I have added include:

KTS SC Beta / SPL Parts Coilovers

Nismo Power Brace

SPL Parts Version 5 outer Tie Rods, Z32 inner tie rods with new rack boots

SPL Parts Tension Rods

Kenwood Excelon KDC-X990 head unit with Sirius radio

MB Quart RAA4200 amplifier, CDT CL62 speakers in doors and Image Dynamics ID10V3 subwoofers in stealth enclosures behind the interior quarter panels.

CrimeStopper Alarm with shock, tilt sensors and trunk pop.

Optima Yellow top battery with 1/0 guage wiring going to Streetwire power and ground distribution blocks in the trunk.

NGK Plugs and Accel Wires

New belts, distributor cap and rotor at 75k

Factory VLSD limited slip differential

Cusco Rear Strut Bar and Okuyama/Carbing Front Strut bar

Whiteline front and rear adjustable swaybars

New front lower control arms at 75k

1998 Mustang Cobra wheels (17x8).

Michelin PS/2 tires in 235/40R17 installed at 123k (still in excellent shape).

K&N dual cone airfilter and Injen Intake

SPL Parts subframe bushings

Nissan Skyline R33 GTST four piston front and two piston rear brakes installed with new factory emergency brake cables. Calipers fully rebuilt and power-coated black. 16/15 Brake Master Cylinder installed. ATE brake fluid and Hawk HPS+ pads. at 87k

C's Short Shifter and Nismo leather knob

New alternator at 93k

New Compressor clutch and fan motor at ~100k

Candlepower Narva and Osram bulbs at all locations including back up lights. Much better lighting.

Nismo Transmission and motor mounts

OBX Header, Catco high flow cat and 5Zigen ProRacer A-Spec exhaust installed and proper flanges to mate everything up added. Nismo exhaust hangers used.

Luk Clutch, Fidanza Aluminim Flywheel, new front and rear main seals and SPL Pivot ball installed at 123k

new window and door seals (windows still need to be adjusted)

Factory mats in excellent shape, replaced with new about 50k miles.

The issues the car has:
After the clutch was replaced, third gear is grinding sometimes lightly. Might be clutch master cylinder or the slave cylinder or just adjustment.

P0204 code is lighted, I recently replaced the gas cap and that didn't help. It's intermittent so should be some hose somewhere loose or compromised.

Accident around 99k miles, front corner with no frame damage (~10mph)...took that opportunity to have the entire front end refreshed with all new lights, hood, bumper, etc. Windshield was replaced shortly after so all the front 'wear' items are more like 30k miles than 4 times that. Very good looking car.

Do you have most of the stock parts to go with the car?

The drift cat website is probably the best journal I've seen for a 240sx beautiful car. Sometimes you can just tell how good the car actually is before actually looking at it in person and this is one of those cases. Glws! !!

I have the exhaust and manifold still in my garage, the stock struts and shocks would have been due for replacement.

Thanks
