I've seen the articles on the Hotshot intalls. I have not seen anyone use a Oxygen Sensor Simulator yet. Has anyone tried this?
I've never heard of one. The car wont ever run right without the 02 sensor though. Im pretty sure of that.

Do any of the header(s) come with an 02 sensor bung?
I don't know if the hotshot does,I'm looking at getting an OBX Racing or a Hotshot header,I don't want the damn thing not to run right...

the o2 simulator is supposed to be for the rear o2 sensor, not the front one. The car needs the front one to run, the rear one isn't used under normal driving conditions. The o2 sim is just so you dont throw an CEL

I'm looking for the easy/cheapist way to keep from throwing a CEL with a Hotshot header.

That's all fine and dandy but, I don't want a yellow light stareing at me all the time( and don't tell me to take out the bulb).
So here is your answer. The simulator is only for the post-cat 02 sensor. You cant use it for the first one and the car wont run right with it. So--->you need the 02 sensor because the MIL would be the least of your worries if your car runs like crap. You will go to a mufler shop. Tell them you would like your 02 sensor re-located. Get the bung and have it positioned before the cat as close after the manifold as possible. Then you can plug the hole in the manifold and make sure everything is ok by driving the car around for a couple of days. Then swap the header.

I was just at my local trusted muffler shop to get a renforcement bracket welded back in place. I started asking questions and they said they wouldn't move the cats or o2 sensors. I know that I need the front O2 for fuel trim and the rear is for emmisions. Half the people say that a header will throw a light and half say it doesn't. Does being a cali car or not have something to do with it?

Damn cali ! I don't know about the cali car thing, but why won't they move the 02 sensor? Did you explain why you needed it moved? hmm...

so wait, does the header not have an o2 bung at all, or does it just have one for the front o2
Just tell those bitches it's a race car and it's only going to be used on the track.
