I picked up an 89 RHD with an r32 dash and bar but as my friend and I were working on it he commented that it would be easier to put in a Silvia dash seeing how we wouldn't have to splice wires. (the car previously had an rb20 in it and I'm putting in a ka for now) If we got a Silvia dash would we also need to get the bar for the steering column as well?
Thanks for the help in advance!

what would the dash have to do with wiring... if your doing a swap it wont exactly have the stock plugs am right? think you need to narrow your need for a r32 dash down a little more vs a silvia dash.

The swap is basically done. it has all the r32 RHD components and writing for an rb but I have a parts car (non RHD) and the engine from that is going into the RHD. My friend suggested to make it simpler to switch to a Silvia dash which then we could swap the wiring from the parts car and only have to extend the wires rather than splicing. But I was thinking what you were thinking I'm just not too experienced with cars but I'm learning. (sorry if this post confused you)
And 90240sx07 would you happen to have any other components like the dash as well or just the bar?
