Sup guys,

I've seen a few guys posts here from Toronto, so lets try to get a total list. Maybe we can meet up something or maybe I've seen some of you guys already.

I'm from Scarborough and I have a '95 240SX LE 5-spd thats Emerald Blue. I've seen another 240SX just link mine at Scar Town Center a few weeks ago. I saw him checking my car out..and I did the same to him. We both turned from Progress St. onto the curvy street that connects to McCowan.

I think a meet in spring would be cool.

Toronto people? There are plenty of Toronto 240SX people. We have our own regional club. Hehe, we've never bothered to advertise it much, though (mainly because we haven't managed to get a proper web page up), so I guess I can't be surprised that you don't know about it.

I would consider our local group to be a fairly enthusaistic bunch. We have meets pretty much every month and do all sorts of neat things. Right now we're in the process of planning our Ontario mega-240 get-together in conjunction with our friends up in Ottawa (who, by the way, have their own site - www.neo240sx.ca)

I do encourage people to join the mailing list, but I will have to warn you guys that unless if you check your e-mail several times a day, don't subscribe using the &quot;Individual e-mails&quot; option. Sometimes we go a little post crazy. Last Wednesday was probably the most activity I've ever seen go through it - 263 posts in a single DAY.

If you think you're going to have some trouble keeping up with individual e-mails, you can subscribe using the daily digest or no e-mail option and use the Yahoo Groups page like a forum. It works pretty much like any other message board as long as you login. That does require that you have a Yahoo! account, however.

If you join the list and the Yahoo page says that you are pending approval, please the e-mail account your Yahoo account is linked to. You may need to verify your e-mail address with Yahoo, first. Note that sometimes you may have more than one e-mail address linked to your Yahoo account at one time. I've had people verify one e-mail address and join with the other.

Anyway I'm up for a mini-meet with anyone in Scaroborough?? I was going thru the pics of the Yahoo club (which I joined) and I noticed someone has done the SR20DET swap! That's hype!! So how many ppl in Toronto have done it?? I don't think many compared to the States!

There are at least a few SR'd 240s in Toronto. I know of at least four cars that has at least had the swap in before, but two of them have been wrecked within the past year. Only one of them is on the list - John and James' car (which are the pics you're seeing). When we were at ImportFest last September we met another guy with an SR swap, but he never joined the list.

maddindian... Adam Hutchinson's SOHC KA turbo right now is a bit more potent than the SR. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> hehe.

J&amp;J bought the car with the SR already installed after their previous 240 was wrecked. The previous owner didn't install the engine properly and basically dumped the car off for cheap. They have been trying to get it running good again for a while. It's in storage for the winter now, though. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

I'm located in Ottawa, and frankly i thought the 240SX had too small of a following to generate an enthusiast club! &nbsp;I used to belong to the Thousand Island Z Car Club when I owned my 300zx. &nbsp;After I switched toi the 240, I really missed belonging to a club where we could meet, talk shop, do road trips etc. &nbsp;I'm definitely going to check out this Neo club...

Wow am I the only Winnipeger here?? I guess so...I noticed when I go on the Neo240sx page...it takes a looong time for the start up page to load..and Im on cable...so when I can I try to find the enter site button right away to avoid the loading...

Yeah Impact, as RedLightning says above the temporary backbone they're on is dog slow. &nbsp;Most of their guys participate in the SON240 group as well. &nbsp;

I'm from Scarborough, just like a bunch of you guys I just read. &nbsp;I just got my 95 240sx LE two months ago. &nbsp;It's a shiny black one if any of you guys see me in the next few days (washed it today). &nbsp;

Haven't done much yet to my car, but I have everything planned out, list of mods and the order, now all I need is to save up enough to get each one, one by one.

I'd totally be up to meet you guys at a meet or something. &nbsp;Let's all drive around together for awhile!!! &nbsp; Scare all those Civic's which have infested Scarborough. &nbsp;That would be a sight.

In this case, the next time a meet comes up (and they crop up all the time... we've had at least one meet every month since September) I'll post an announcement here.

You never know what the meets are about, though. We do are usual BS on the mailing list (which you all really should join <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>) and something comes up that we end up making a meet out of.
