I recently installed a new clutch disk, pilot bearing, pressure plate, throwout bearing, resurface the flywheel, the whole thing. In my 90 Ka Sohc S13. I put everything back and torque to spec. The car starts normal. But I can't get into gear even though i press the clutch pedal down. When the car is off it goes into every gear. Idk what it is if anyone had this problem plz help its my daily driver n I need the car on the road ASAP. So plz any info would be good. Thanks. I'll take video n post it so you guys can see what I'm talking about.

if the gears engage correctly when the engine is off, it means your clutch is not working properly ...
first, check your master and slave cylinders are working, and the slave is pushing on the fork.
Is the pedal mushy ? Firm ? what clutch ?
If it is not a master/slave cylinder problem, i am afraid you are good to remove the box again...

Make sure it feels right. I had this happen to me. It wouldn't go into gear when the car started and while driving, the only way I could shift is with rev matching up and down. With out matching revs, it would just grind and make me sad.
I took the tranny off and the spring clip that holds the shift fork in the correct position wasn't where it's supposed to be. So, the spring clip was only doing about half of the work it was supposed to be doing. That's how the clutch pedal felt too. It felt like it was only half disengaging. I popped the clip back in place and the clutch feel returned to butter.
It's pretty easy to 'make' things work but if it's still not feeling right, you might need to pull the trams back off and check it out. Hope that helped at all. Good luck! :)

I bet you installed the clutch disk backwards.

Okay I tried it again it went into gear. But I had to press the clutch pedal really in so it can go into any gear. I'm gonna check the master n slave cylinder. First before I take the trans out again. Thanks for to all of you for the help. I'll keep you guys updated on my situation.

so i check the master and slave cylinder and they're working fine. i had my brother press the clutch pedal while i was under the car n i saw the slave cylinder move the clutch fork. also i bleed the system to see if that would help. but nope it didn't so Im gonna have to drop the transmission :/

Sucks it wasn't something easy dude. Keep crackalackin. My money is on the shift fork spring clip. ..or maybe the pivot ball that the shift fork sits on.

last thing you could try... the clutch command is hydraulic, but there is an adjuster on the pedal. Make sure it is sitting correctly, and not preventing you from pressing the pedal fully !

Took the tranny off today. The clutch fork n throwout bearing were good. clutch disc was facing the right side.I'm gonna check the torque spec on the pressure plate I believe its 22ft lb. Wish me luck guys. Hope I get it this time.

I would def adjust the clutch pedal...When I had my Z it was having a similar issue. Couldnt figure it out for the life of me. It's only goign to require minimal turning, so adjust it slowly. It will probbaly go form not goign into gear, to SLipping under hard accel. just turn it till it grips correctly.

Make sure the clutch fork isn't bent while you're in there. I would also check the threaded arm on the back of the master cylinder. Sometimes they need adjustment after installing a new clutch. You'll have to do it with everything bolted back into place, but my money is on the rod needing to be threaded in.

Alright guys i finally got my car on the road. I took everything off n made sure everything was torqued to spec. After I put everything back on I bled the slave cylinder until there was no air in the system. And my car went into gear and took it for a spin. Shifts good no grinding n it goes good in every gear. If anyone has the same problem make sure u bleed the clutch line before you take anything off I learned from my mistakes :P n thanks to everyone who helped.

I had the same problem. Small clutch pedal adjustment, works like a champ.
