Ok, so I finally got my setup all figured out, and running perfect! Hooray!

Im confident in the new setup, but Im not sure what the ideal AFR for an SR is for reliability. Here is the modlist:

BlackTop SR20DET (s13)
S15 T28 Turbo @16psi
740cc Nismo Injectors
Z32 N62 MAF
JWT Tune for my setup
Walbro 255lph fuel pump
Greddy Intake Manifold
Aeromotive AFPR
FMIC
Turbo-back exhaust
Etc..(rest of obvious supporting mods)

So I can adjust my fuel pressure to move the AFR curve up or down very cleanly. Currently I have it set to start out around 11.6 and then move to 11.0 as the RPM’s go up. Is that good? or is that too rich?

Also, I run 93 octane in it only. Never race gas (ok, maybe once a year at the drag strip), and never anthing less than 93.

What would the ideal AFR for long term reliability be? I dont mind missing out on a little power, as long as it lasts for a long time...ya know?

I run my setup at 11.5 AFR on pump gas and just a hair leaner on C16. The way you have it set right now will work just fine.

Robert

It will work, but 11.0 is on the rich side of things. Better safe than sorry though...

11.0 is a little rich, if you have a good tune 12.0 is safe. Between 11.5 - 12.0 is what you want want to aim for. There is plenty on info on this forum about sr20det AFRs.

I've had good luck with 11.5:1 up to 400 horsepower on a 8,000 rpm SR20DET under 19psi.
