Ive searched and havent found any specific information to answer my question

Are the emission components (evap control, emissions canister, valves, solenoids, vacuum piping etc.) the same for all 3 years?

I am trying to figure out if a 96 motor with all the parts still intact will work in my 97 without throwing a CEL. My car is due for emissions testing here in Arizona so I need to pass

Does anyone know specifically what is different?

Would it be best to just source a 97 intake manifold or the emissions components seperately and transer everything over?

transfer the intake, exhaust, and sensors from the og engine into the new one. less headaches.

www.240SXTECHDVDS.org Home Page (http://www.240sxtechdvds.org) There is a DVD called 'emissions removal' ...It explains everything.

I purchased the DVD and learned a lot is different between s13 and s14 engines. Things like butterflies and the plunger are the main differences.
