braille b2015 , love it. tons of people are going to tell you to get the lesser priced generic version however, i just went with the braille for their warranty. super light weight, plenty of power, and so far i've let it sit for a couple weeks and it fired back up.

I live in Phoenix, where it gets pretty damn hot in the summer. I have run the same Optima yellow-top on my daily S14 for about 3 years now. Also runs the stereo system nicely, and I won't be going with anything different from now on.

But this is for my DAILY. Not sure if you are wanting it for track or daily use, but for track, I'd totally go Braille. He's right, they are amazing. Wait till you pick one up in your hand.

Optimas are awesome & last quite a bit. If you like to listen to the radio a lot while cars off and stuff then get the yellow top if it's going to be dailied in hot conditions then stick to the red top which withstands heat best

Optima Batteries 9071-167 - Optima YellowTop Deep Cycle 12 Volt Batteries - Overview - SummitRacing.com (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ULT-9071-167/)

I have a 800 watt system with HID and I've never killed the battery it's has always started for me. IMO best of both worlds right there.

Dont know about running a sound system but I ended up with a generic Interstate battery for a miata. It was cheap and was a noticeable difference in weight vs the stock battery and running my s14 fine.

Optima red sounds like the front runner so far since the car is just a daily.

I was also considering the miata batterys as well

Thanks for the quick replies.!

Look at my link..... It's a yellow top that's what I run with my setup I've had my for 2 years and again I run like a 500 rms system.
