Well figured I finally have made enough progress to start a build thread and clutter things up on here.

I'll admit I'm not the biggest fan of the kit and the rims but I figured I had them, so I would rock them. :lol:

Car need a few fixes before the coming spring so I sent it out for paint and got this back. . .

Turned out that the paint manufacture had a defect in the paint which caused it to look like shit, so now I get a free respray this winter.

Bought another 240sx before spring came that I had planned on building to start drifting in but, decided I was gonna use this thing, which was probably one of my best decisions.

Car definateley needed spacers because the offset on the rims where nasty.


Well Elko #3 was nearing and I felt I should sign up and get in on the action, with a little pressure for some buddies (Dorf2, Laxrider, and Bunta) we got are shit together and headed out to my first event and pretty much first time sliding the car. :)

Well after this season I found that a lot of the shit on my car can change, I needed to get rid of a lot of stuff and make a ton of upgrades.

Started tearing her down, deleting the AC (yep this car had the sr20 with a complete AC system completely installed), plan is to do a complete suspension upgrade, everything from coils, control arms, to subframe.

Thanks, the color is the Nissan Starfire blue that some of the koukis where produced in, I'm getting it painted the same color again.

Zenki lip is staying on her, I'm going back to the slammed stock look with maybe kouki sideskirts if I come across a good pair.

I have been trying to force myself to accept that that is just a risk with drifting and that its a good possibility that she will hit something at some point. But for now I'm going to enjoy its dent less appearance :)

Had to get rid of one of the parts cars so we took the last of the wiring and the subframe out and loaded it up for scrap. Was about the only way we could think of to get her onto the trailer.

Also since I don't have AC anymore I also took the coil out from under the dash so that I can cover up the holes in the engine bay and also just to get rid of things that are not being used anymore.

Got the harness stripped and for the most part gutted, just gotta do the soldering, also its zip tied together so that I can figure out what needs to move around for tucking purposes.

Quick little update, I've been ridiculously busy at work lately so I haven't had time to really work on the car as much as I wanted to. Did this little bit of work about a month a go and hope to have it finished up by the end of this coming weekend. (fingers crossed)

I suggest the engine bay to be the same color as the exterior. everything looks good and fresh then and matches.

I know a bunch of people that hate their black engine bays on green/white cars. looks like you have no room.

I didn't have time to finish the engine bay and prep for paint because the tubs took a little longer then expected. If i had had the bay all done and sanded I probably would have had them paint the bay the same color. I doubt I'll go with black, a dark silver is high on my list though, helps keep the engine bay brighter plus, with my attempt at a wire tuck it should look nice and clean.

Oh yeah and I wanted to see what some MB Battles would look like on my car so I had a friend photoshop some on it.

Not much of an update but I got some pics that I can throw up.

Since my car his been out to paint for the last while I really had nothing to do except piddly stuff on the motor.

Drilled out and replaced the exhaust stud that broke off in the head.

Finally figured out what I was all going to need for my oil cooler setup so I got that all ordered. All Earls -10 Lines and Fittings, with a in line thermostat, relocation filter mount and Tomei block adapter. Pretty much a copy of the same system that Khilgers ran. Looking forward to putting all that together

Well nothing amazing here but for those of you with yellowing and foggy headlights might be interested in this. Still waiting for my car to come back from paint so I figured I would give this a shot.

Tried this Mequiar's Product seems to have work pretty good, included a 1000 grit sanding pad and a 3000 grit sanding pad along with the polish and UV protectant. I guess I will see how it lasts.

As for the oil cooler it is 8 in. x 11 in. x 1 1/2 in wasn't sure if it was going to be to big, but after discussing with summit and a few others I decided upon it.

Dropped the motor back in so I can finish my wiring, route and install the oil cooler setup and also cut and build my intercooler/intake piping, and also mount any of my brackets before the bay gets painted. That way I don't have to mess around with anything just straight drop the motor in and hook it up.

Then just gotta make mounts for the power steering reservoir, oil pressure gauge, fuel filter, and also make some new brake lines. Then motor comes back out, paint the bay and hopefully put everything back in a hope that it fires back up.

Good question, Back when I purchased the car in the Fall of 2010 the most I had worked on a car was changing the oil, changing brakes, and doing small electrical wiring for a radio. Not to skilled with much of anything. I've advanced a little bit now.

I use to drive an 88 s-10 before I got interested in drifting.

Since I hadn't done any painting before I had someone else paint it. Unfortunately there was a manufactures defect in the paint that caused it to fade so my car got a free respray paid for by the paint supplier. If the car where needed to be painted again, it would just be painted by my friend and I.

Only reason I drift the s14 over the s13 is because all my purchases for the s14 have been for the most part for drifting. Plus I didn't get the s13 till I had way to much already invested into the s14. If it crashes it crashes, I guess that's what over fenders are for. haha

Little more progress on the car yesterday. Trying to get the s14 done so most of the work has stopped on the coupe for now.

Installed my roof spoiler and tore the subframe out to place my new bushings and arms in.

And my favorite part about this weekend was testing my wiring and finding that everything worked, had a little trouble with the turn signals but now there good. Wiring is about 95% done now.

Took till about midnight to get all the arms on and the subframe put back on the car finally. Gonna try out some of these write ups on at home alignments so I can at least take the car out this weekend before I can get a professional alignment done next week.

Long weekend in the shop trying to still get this car done.

Finally got my brake lines, clutch, and oil cooler lines in. Filled her up with fluid, finished running a power wire to my starter and from the battery to the fuse box. Turned the key over and it fired right up. I was actually surprised that it did, after I did all that messing with wiring and other stuff, I was kind of doubting if it would even run. But luckily it did, idles just fine.

Also gave all the brake calipers an overhaul by cleaning and re lubing the pins. Painted them silver and put them back on.

Put the Stance GR+ Pros on also. Now that I had all my suspension on in the front I found a few problems. These MB Battles are to fricken wide to use with my cut knuckles ( maybe ). At full lock they rub on the tension rod and at full lock the other way they rub on the brake line mount. Hopefully this is because of my current ride height and alignment. If I can't figure out a fix I'll just have to use my old rims till I can get some thinner rims then the 9.5" Battles.

Not bashing you though so take no offence. Most people w/ knuckles either run a super skinny WACK looking wheel up front, order custom wheels, or run spacers. I see you have some spacers so I'd go that route w/ a generous about of camber since you already painted your front fenders. Love how the car is turning out. Great work!

Thanks, and no offense taken. I've never built anything really before this car, shit this is the first vehicle I have even put coils in, let alone the first to go this in depth on a build. So I'm not surprised I've overlooked a few things. I'm going to build some bump stops for the LCA's so that the only thing that hits is the tie rod end. I will accept a loss in the total angle I can turn, but in the long run, it will only be my second year drifting and also these knuckles with a bump stop should be more angle then stock was. Plus if I run a different set of wheels or get overfenders and extended LCA's I think I can be pretty clear of hitting things.

Ran into a coolant leak, boost leak, and other small problems before the event even started. Only had about 3/10 of a mile on the car once I finally backed it off the trailer at Shawano. All in all though the car ran great dispite a potentially broken wastegate actuator.

I didn't take any pics during the weekend because I was having a blast driving the car. Luckily Jmuag Productions got a few, thanks. Should be some go pro videos somewhere if Chris can find them also.

Just gonna leave these here in my thread so I can at least throw out some what of a update post, think I'll be investing in a Go Pro soon.

Had an extensive coolant leak that has been bothering me since Shawano that I finally got fixed last thursday afternoon before PG's. Chris welded in bump stop extensions since I broke the last ones a No Star and the car was pretty much ready for Proving Grounds.

The event was a blast and as always full of drifting and other cool shit, pretty much if you didn't go you missed out.

Really happy with the way the car has turned out this year so far, and with these past two events (Shawano and Proving Grounds) I feel that I have picked up and learned a lot more about drifting then I did all of last year.

Yesterday my s13 SR power steering pump crapped out on me and since I am not a fan of hanging out the window to get enough leverage to make a left turn I looked for options to replace it with hopefully what I had sitting around in my spare parts pile. I came across a thread that had some info on it but not to much.


So the basics of it is you will need your SR power steering pump and brackets and also a ka power steering pump.

The KA power steering pump can either be from a s13 or s14 but it must be DOHC. SOHC power steering pumps will not work.

Steps

1. Remove your SR power steering pump along with tensioner bracket, you can leave the mounting bracket that connects to your motor in place.

2. Remove the pulley from both the SR pump and the KA pump, they will need to be swapped being that the KA ps pump has a much larger pulley.

The KA pump and pulley are on the left while the SR pump and pulley are on the right.

3. You will also need to swap over the mounting bracket from the SR pump onto the KA pump as well.

4. Install back onto you motor and enjoy power steering again.

Also make sure to use automatic transmission fluid not power steering fluid. DEX/MERC



And also, will be making my own lines for the power steering on the white car so the motor is back out so I can mess with the steering rack much easier and also do some much needed cleaning/degreassing of the motor.

Also removed all of the sound deadning/tar from the interior, except under the back seat. Wish I would have used dry ice instead of heat and a scraper. Brake cleaner worked good to help get rid of some of the chunks that were left over. Will be putting bedliner on the floor as soon as its all cleaned up.

Also I have unfortunately decided to sell my s13 to help fund other things in life, even though I am 100% certain that I'm going to regret selling it. I've put a lot of work into the car in the short time that I have owned it. Still working on getting the car running and finishing up some things.

I'm still trying to figure out why it won't turn over with the key, all the other electronics work except the signal to the starter. I'm thinking it has to do with it previously being an automatic, and I have to loop the black and the tan wire that is under the fuse box but, that wire doesn't seem to not be there. So assuming if I can't figure out the wiring I can hook up a separate wire setup with a momentary and reuse the existing fuse, that will be a solution for the problem.

Spent pretty much the whole weekend out in the shop again.

Got the car to now start with the key, wired in my electric fan. Bolted in the batter tray. Installed clutch slave and master, and a bunch of other random little things on it.

Put fresh rotors on the rear along with new brake pads. Shortly after starting to bleed the brakes the booster went out so now I get to enjoy putting a new one in. Probably one of my least favorite task to do on a car.

Built an exhaust which now consist of a Megan 4-1 header,2 1/2" pipe, thrush muffler, and an obxr muffler in the rear of the car. Didn't want this thing to be unreasonably loud.

The right way to do a power steering delete on a ka24de. Moves the alternator forward so its inline with the water pump and main pulley and so the alternator can be used as the tensioner.

*ka24e lower alternator bracket
*ka24e upper alternator bracket with the bump on it grinded smooth
*ka24e water neck
*.25" spacer for top bolt on alternator
*25-030350 3rib belt

Almost but no. To many people have been flaking out on it so I really havent pushed selling it to much any more. Kinda just finishing it up, adding a few parts here and there when I have time.

Well so far this seems to be a pretty good band-aid for stock motor mounts going out on the s14 till winter and I can get some new mounts. So far it seems to be a vast improvement. If I can get Chris to send me the video so I can cut it shorter I'll post the reason I picked this up asap.

Anyone have suggestions for new mounts? I'm leaning towards the Nismo Motor/Tranny mounts.

Also installed a power steering cooler because the alternator I'm using had clearance issues with the stock s14 power steering hardline that ran across the front of the cross member. Wore a hole into the hard line, lost power steering and blew my 100amp fuse, was a pretty nice cruise up in Maplewood til that happened.

Just went through all the pages, seems you are doing things pretty well correct considering you state that you started not being able to even change oil :P

Come a long way, and doing wiring as well, usually people shy away from that... Props for doing everything yourself (with friends i'm sure but still)..

Thanks dude, yeah its been pretty fun so far working and driving these cars. Also I was able to change the oil on cars, just didn't have much interest in working on them until I found drifting. Now I enjoy the hell out of it.

Had to find another radiator because the previous two I had both unfortunately had holes in them. Ended up finding a s14 ka radiator which in order to install you have to drill new holes for the mounting brackets on top.

Still can't figure out why my HUD doesn't work, appears that its not even getting power.

Finished my s13 coupe last week Thursday and took it out for its first real drive on the tar. Then this week I finally sold the coupe last night. He drove it just shy of two hours home which I felt was a pretty good because I had only put about 6 total miles on the car since getting it as a shell.

Now that I have shop space again I can continue with my s14's build which includes a formula d spec cage, mild power build (around 300hp with basic bolt ons) and if there is money left over a new look for the car as well.

Also went to Drift Day 42. Didn't do to much drifting til the afternoon because my intake was taking in a lot of water from the placement of the filter. Fixed it around noon and then continued to participate in the event.

Sad to admit but its a 9k racing one. I was hopping to buy a real one but for the price I figured I give it a shot. It does need a lot of work still to make it look good. I really dislike the company but this isn't a review thread. I guess I'll see how it holds up.

Finally got my winter vehicle up and running so now I can start working on the s14 again.

The month of December may be slow for the build since I wont be sending it off to Patience Metal Fab to get the roll cage put in until the beginning of January.

First thing was to start getting rid of all the extra junk that has been piling up over the summer, especially the parts car which had basically had almost all of its good parts transferred onto the white car I built.

So there was now room in the shop to start tearing the s14 down and to start prepping for the roll cage.

Also cleaned up the open diff that is now welded up, should work a lot better then the vlsd dif that was about at the end of its life.

Right now I am currently trying to figure out how to tackle my sunroof situation. I have been talking with a shop that does after market sunroofs if the have any way to replace my electric sunroof with a manual one. I have also picked up another used sunroof to replace my broken one if I decide to go that route. The main concern is just that when the cage is in the car what do I do if the sunroof breaks again?

Also thought about the possibility of making a mold out of the sunroof glass and either making a plastic or fiberglass duplicate of it that matches the contour of the roof line while attaching with a few bolts and brackets so that it can be painted to match and also be removable.

The whole interior behind the front seats will be gutted to make room for the roll cage. Also the sunroof will have a brand new mount system made as to delete the track system. I will be looking into making a fiberglass or plastic style sunroof delete panel possibly. But for now I'll be using the stock glass because it matches the roof line the best.

Also recently just picked up this project. A 1995 240sx SE that has a wiring gremlin and a bad sunroof seal for one heck of a deal. The car has a Apexi Exhaust, tein lowering springs, only 99,000 miles on the stock motor.I will hopefully be able to get the car up and running in the near future.

Needed some way to get rid of the sunroof slide because of the roll cage... So we fab'd a bracket up for it.

I thought about that, but in the long run I would like to take the brackets and make a fiberglass or plastic sunroof delete that has a lip that allows it to seal completely. Then if I wanted to have it open, all I would have to do is unbolt it and take it out.

Yeah, the starter looks fine though, may have just tried starting it when it was already running, (turbo timer and turned the key to far) Chris gave me his s14 flywheel to use so it should be good.

Also my battles are 17x9.5 +15 and I run Kenda Kaisers 225/45/17's

It only took them about 5 weeks to get the cage done. Also keep in mind that they only worked on it a couple nights a week and weekends also. Pretty quick turn around.

As for pricing though, around 2500 by the time I was done give or take some. But I had them do a few other things also for the car. If your truly interested in a cage by them just give them a call, since there are so many variants in a cage that the price can differ drastically. As for their quality of work, I highly recommend it.

Finished the sound deadening removal with the heat gun and scraper method again. Wasn't to thrilled about that.

Also finally after a month of being back ordered the SPL V5 Tie Rod Ends came in, and like usual the quality of their parts is ridiculous. They make the Tein outers I currently have look like twigs.

Well ran into a few issues with my paint on the roll cage so it had to all be stripped and re applied. Exciting I know. But finally it is at least one color and I can move on to other parts of the car.

Extended the lower control arms 25mm, braced and gusseted on the bottom.

Installed a new 3" elbow, finally got rid of the stock t25 elbow.

Installed the newly extended LCAs with new ball joints on the car. This is with the old alignment/ tie rods centered. Good thing I picked up the GKtech rack spacer, and the SPL outer tierod ends.

So a few weeks ago at ClubFR Drift Day 44 I was fortunate enough to get plenty of track time. Although I was quick to learn how in adequate my cooling fan setup was. After having to pull off the track every 3 or so runs to let my car cool down, I decided it was time to upgrade my fan setup.

So I did some research and decided the fan setup from a '97 Nissan Altima. Not bad for a $30 find.

Went ahead and purchased the needed relay's, wiring, fuses, and other miscelanious items I would need.

Here is my wiring setup for the fans in my s14. I have the 3 position switch tied into the on/start circuit so that the fans turn off if the key is turned off, because of having a turbo timer. Also since I never had overheating issues with daily driving the car with just the single fan, I set this one up to run a single fan on low, and dual on high.

Here is the fitment in the bay, needed to do plenty of triming to the outside edges of the shroud to get cleance for my oil cooler lines, intercooler piping, intake filter, and power steering lines. Pretty sure I will be having new intercooler piping made this winter, for better fitment.

Haven't updated this much lately, haven't really done much with the car.

Drove it at MAP's Proving Grounds 2013.1 Car ran awesome and had no issues until about an hour before the competition.

So this is the small little issue I had that fucked me over on competing in the drift competition on Sunday at Proving Grounds 2.13.1. Kind of pissed it happened, but oh well.

Are you still running the stock oil pan and s13 oil pickup? A few guys I know got rod knock from broken pickups and there oil sloshing around. You havent had any issues with that so I was just wondering

Yes stock pickup, I still have the baffle in the pan also. I guess if all of a sudden I noticed I'd lost oil pressure on my gauge I would stop driving the car??

So at AutoMass my clutch went out after about the first hour of driving. I guess not resurfacing my flywheel before installing it a year and a half ago when didn't help. Shouldn't have rushed it I guess. Anyways event was a absolute blast and am looking forward to the next one.

Unfortunately I needed the car the next weekend for some fun at the Elko Demo. Luckily I had some friend that where able to help me get a clutch (ACT 6 puck unsprung) ordered and installed, resurfaced a flywheel, and got a stock s14 pressure plate in by Thursday night.

(Will add some photos of that when I get a chance, old disc was pretty destroyed)

Should have this back up and running this weekend.

Just running a temporary clutch/pressure plate set up to finish out the season and should be upgrading this winter.

All that is left now is to put the trans back in and trim the master cylinder rod for proper length and should be good to go for Shawano. Party on!

Just read your whole build and its really inspires me to spend lots of $$ on my drift car haha. I think you are one of the first builds I have been reading that started 2 years ago and still going... most people just sell their builds once they have completed it which baffles me. So thank you for continuing it.

I am looking to upgrade my suspension on my s13 and I haven't really seen one bad review about SPL's. How are they holding up?? I don't make the most $$ so I have to do my mods one at a time, What do you recommend to do first to my suspension? I am only on coilovers at the moment. So I have been thinking about modding the front suspension first then eventually dropping the subframe and installing better bushings, RUCAS...etc (same thing you did)

I choose SPL for all of my suspension arms because they have great customer service, they actually have a buy back/ percent off when new products come out (I think they do that still), plus I only wanted to buy suspension parts ONCE.

Three thing right away to make sure you have are coils/diff/seat. But as for suspension I would say you have a good idea on what to do. Also maybe look in to some modified knuckles and new tie rod ends as well.

I just read about the SPL outer tie rods I was thinking about doing a 5 finger discount at a junk yard for the z32 inner tie rods however I read that if I was going to get modified knuckles I would need stock s14 inners. So I should just mod the knuckles right when I upgrade outer/inner tie rods.

Going through so many clutches this season has been lame, but as of right now I have fixed that issue so hopefully my current setup will last.

But right now I've got about 250 miles on a new ACT 6-puck Unsprung Clutch Disc along with a new Heavy Duty Pressure plate without really going into boost or putting any excessive driving on it.

Also starting to work on getting everything together to start making custom sunroof brackets, and fiberglass glass replacements. Had a buddy that was parting out an s14 that was crashed, so I told him I wanted the roof. That way when creating the fiberglass deletes I don't have to deal with trying to fab using my own car.

Doesn't quite fit right on the stock manifold so it will need a custom waste gate bracket (maybe) and a 90 welded onto the outlet of the compressor to get the coupler farther away from the exhaust manifold.

Last Saturday worked on mocking up the lines and figuring out how to extend the compressor housing. Installed the sti injectors as well. Will be hopefully getting the outlets welded up soon, a new wastegate bracket made as well.

Was able to have a friend modify the compressor housing on the gt2860rs to work best with the bottom mount setup I'm running. Turned out great.

Was able to mount everything up, all lines hooked up except for one of the coolant lines, the DIF Bottom Mount line kit fit pretty great except for one line. I didn't like how it had a straight fitting that when hooked up would lay the line on top of the intake pipe. Will be switching to a -6AN 90* fitting to allow the best clearance.

So I would suggest to anyone that buys the DIF S13 Bottom Mount line kit to modify the coolant line from the -6AN straight fitting to the -6AN 90* fitting. Makes the line kit fit so much better.

Nope, I got no spare diffs down here. As for events, there are only a few

Forcewerkz Navan Front and Sides with Kouki Rears, fittment is pretty spot on for the kit. Except my car had damage to the rear wheel wells so there will need to be modifications to the skirts to make them fit.

Intercooler setup is pretty much done except for adding the Blitz BOV. Took quite a bit of modifications, plenty of cutting and welding but have successfully turned the cx kit into a 4 clamp setup that can fit the tubs, and ic location.

Finally got the new flange for the the BOV so that got welded on, also added a nipple for the vacuum line that connects to the T fitting on the valve cover. (Will add pics once I head out to the shop again.)

Got the car started, found some leaks, fixed those, seems to idle pretty good. Currently still only have the SAFC2 but hopefully will be switching over to an Apexi Power FC in the next few weeks. But for now at least the car can move under its own power.

Also started on the side skirts, fitment for the forceworkz sides was pretty good on my white s14, not so much on my blue car (which had previous rear wheel well repair).

Sides need to be cut and extended to make fit.

Yeah, doubt I would have to do much trimming to get them to work on the white car. Front looks off a bit because a ziptie holding the wheel well in is pushing on it a bit.

So while setting up the pfc during idle I notice that the car was having a vacuum leak.

Ended up pressure testing the system and found a leak at the IACV hose, BOV, manual boost controller, and the compressor housing of the turbo.

Swapped in another Blitz BOV that a friend had laying around, ended up just getting rid of my manual boost controller, got a new clamp for the IACV hose, and had a fun filled day of removing and resealing the compressor housing. Although I'm happy to say that now I have no more vacuum leaks.

For the most part the engine bay is finally buttoned up, may add an adjustable fpr setup but that's about it.

Now all that's left before I can take the car to Drift Days is to finish/prep/paint the aero and to get the car tuned. Safe to say I can't wait to just drive this car instead of working on it all the time.

I actually bought a 1/8npt aluminum bung and welded it onto the hot pipe right before it makes its bend towards the headlights (its on the bottom side of the pipe, not really visible) then just put a 1/8npt to 4mm hose end fitting in.

there isn't many builds on this site that i ever comment on, but nice build, i like where you're going with it. i've never been a fan of the kouki valances (zenki's would look better ;) ), but to each his own. nice to finally see a car without the ugly body kits and kept simple. keep it up

Not to much of an update on my car, just trying to figure out an electrical gremlin before tuning on the 6th.

A friend and I have been working on doing some side work at the shop. We are currently working on a high angle kit for the s-chassis. Which includes modded knuckles, extended and gusseted lcas.

The kit is turning out very well, plenty of angle, no binding in the rack, no crazy wheel flop. Looking forward to running it this year.

Now a lot of you may not get excited about a 280 squirrel sr, but compared to the 190 something horses I was pushin last year this thing is a whole new animal.

Then installed my DLgarage Knuckles and added a 30mm bolt on spacer to my 17x9 +17 rims. Car gets plenty of angle now. After the alignment I am currently running the fronts at 8º of camber. Hoping to bring that down to 4º-6º once I buy some 8" rims for up front.

Thanks dude, this past weekend was a blast.

Well DD48 was are first chance to try the knuckles out. They felt amazing and drove awesome. Not sure exactly how much angle they add but it is more then plenty. I spent the weekend trying to throw the car as sideways as possible in some spots and the front wheels still gripped.

Couple more photos from the Modern Automotive Performance (MAP) Proving Grounds 2014.1 Event this past weekend. Despite having the turbo work itself loose of the manifold and not bringing nearly enough tires. Chris and I managed to bring home a 1st Place in the team tandems comp. Weekend was a blast.

So I hardly spend anytime working on my own car lately, been helping a friend with his 1986 Starion 2JZ-GE swap. I'm doing the wiring for him. So far its been a rear brain scratcher but for the most part I think I have it figured out. Should have it up and running in the next couple of weeks. Car should be pretty rad when its done. He also upgraded the steering from the shitty starion gear box to a s13 rack and pinion. This winter he will be swapping over to a complete s13 knuckle/lca/coilover/steering set up.

I dunno how laggy the 2860 is, but I would guess it's pretty responsive. I have the smaller brother to it, the 2560-4 and it made pretty good power, but if your wanting or needing more get up and go, I suggest Tomei 256 cams, matched pair. I put those in and my car woke right up.

I haven't really noticed any lag on the 2860. I would definitely say its extremely responsive, and for the tracks around here it is about the perfect setup. I have been wanting to get cams at some point, just haven't had a chance lately.

Then installed it last Saturday. Color between the body kit and the car is a bit off. Best guess is that the person that painted the car previously had used a bit darker of a sealer.

Depends how the light hits it, either way I'm happy with it. Really pulled the car together in the looks department finally.
