For the past few weeks, my car would smell like hot glue whenever I drive it for more than a few minutes. Kind of a burning smell and the only way I know how to describe it is that it smells sort of like hot glue.

I don't smell it inside the car while I'm driving. I only smell it when the car's stopped, like at a red light, and with the windows open, or after I get out of the car. The smell's pretty strong cuz I can still smell it when I'm about 20 feet away from the car.

Could it be the clutch going bad? I don't know because the car drives just fine, and there's no smell from inside the car. Anyone know what it is?

i doubt its the clutch, because clutch doesnt smell like hot glue, it sorta smells like an old wet moldy rag or something. as far as what the smell could be.....i dunno? maybe i'll follow my nose to your place sometime and check it out, maybe we can figger somethin out.

check all your belt tensioners. could be a slipping belt.

this may be a dumb question, but did you put a new muffler or exhaust on it?

when i put my n1 dual on it smelled like burning marshmallows for about 2 weeks because of the packing burning up

could be bad rings...

does white smoke come out? have someone look while you run your car, have them rev it up

ck your codes.. could also be a bad 02 sensor
