So my check engine light on. Causing it to come on is an injector leak. I changed the injector o-rings and still nothing. So my question is,

Does anyone know of a way to test the injectors to find out which one is faulty? I'd rather not send them in also.

Btw my question is in regards to ka24e injectors.

start your car and unplug them one at a time till the engine idle doesnt change

What you need to do is remove the rail from the intake injector still seated, add constant fuel pressure. At this point most o-rings and pintle leaks will be noticed. label faulty injector(s) repair or replace. If there are no leaks move on to this test, make a jig for power and ground for the injectors with fuel pressure still applied give power to the injector, just a few seconds, you can even pulse the ground a few times. when you stop the injector should be closed and not leaking any fuel. If there is a little dribble of fuel or injector never closes it needs to be replaced or serviced.

I do 1 injector at a time, and I do this almost every year when I do a full tuneup.

I have never done this on a sohc ka though, but have on dohc ka's and sr's.

I'm going to try this.

So once I make this jig, I will power one injector at a time while still connected to the fuel rail? I'd imagine all injectors will have to be in place. Also, a set of extra hands will help to hold the injectors so they won't pop out. I will try this. Thank you for the good idea.
