will i have to change the the ecu in the 95 if i swap a 96 engine in or will it work fine?
Might have to change ecu due to the fact that 95 ka is obdI and96+ are obdII,iirc

Or do it the easy way and keep the intake and exhaust manifolds off of the 95 and just swap over the engine and keep your 95 ECU.
i was going to rebuild it so basially want the the 96 for the head and block i was put on all the other parts from the 95 ka on it. so it wil work if i put the 95 intake manifold and exhuast manifold on it?

hey, i just got done putting on a 96 motor into a 95. the motor was obdII so i changed just the intake manifold from my old engine to the new engine. everything hooked up fine. take out the tranny when u put the new engine in. its a lot easier.

ya if u take the 95 mani off and put it on the 96 engine it will work fine. i just did the exact thing w my engine. make sure u take the tranny out with the engine. it makes it a lot easier.
