raiders vs. patriots

ok.. this game was a couple of days ago, but im still kinda ticked off 'cause the raiders lost and i had money on them.  what do you guys think?  fumble or incomplete pass?  i thought it was clearly a fumble and the reff was just being an #######.  i just wanna hear what people have to say.

I had no money on the game and only saw the highlights, but that's how it looked to me. &nbsp;Unfortunately, I think the refs got it right b/c the rule sucks. &nbsp;To the naked eye, it was going to be a cradle/fumble... to the rule book it was an incomplete pass. &nbsp;Gee - do you think that rule will be getting changed soon?

BTW: not all car guys have to hate sports (although it does seem to be the case...)

whatched the whole game and the call by the ref was a good call. i mean it did comply buy the rules so it was a good call, patriots rule, i hope they go all the way, they made me alot of money so far!lol

Definetly a fumble if you go by intent but the refs can't judge what the QB intended to do and have to follow the rule book so it was a good call. I'm glad the Raiders lost but they should have won. &nbsp;Don't care for the Patriots either so I'm not taking sides. Either way both teams would lose next week.

Like it was said before, by the rule book it was a foward pass. &nbsp;Now in reality it's a fumble, i would bet money on that rule getting changed over the off season.

the call was right according to the rules, it will be changed now. the real problem is gruden not going for it on 4th and 1 to seal the game. he punted like a pussy and the pats drove it down his throat. i hate conservative coaching. i was wanting the raiders to win but not after he punted. i like the rams style, if you can score 60 do it. screw taking it easy! i don't want to barely beat a mustang, i want to kill them!

all you patriot fans make me sick. its was very obvious that it was a fumble, and be honest, you also thought it was a fumble, cause it was! when they were showing the replay you couldn't bear to hear the call, but then it's overturned and you sing with joy! it was nowhere near being a forward pass, as long as the qb still has the ball and is stripped from him, going forward or not, it's a fumble, that should be the rule. &nbsp;the raiders were cheated, it's bullshit.

but then again, the game shouldn't have been that close anyway. I'm not a hardcore fan of the raiders, but I like them, I prefer them over the niners. but I also wasn't expecting them to go far in the playoffs anyway. so it's all good.

you have to remeber that when you look at in in slow motion you only see a &quot;split second&quot; of him touch it with his other hand indacating, that he has controle but the rule say's that if his are was in forward motion incompeat
but if &nbsp;he brought the ball into his body than it it a fumbule

it was the wrong call by the refs. &nbsp;His arm was in a forward motion, but it was in a forward motion to tuck the ball in!!! &nbsp;I looked at the clip a few times and people are just stupid not realizing that. &nbsp;the ball was gett'n tucked! Fumble!
