OK imma keep this short.
First off. Planning my next build. have the car and 3/4 of the parts. getting to the brakes aspect and need some guidance. i spent the day sifting through old threads and searching but havent found a useful tool to help me get the answer i need. i dont need you to spoon feed me anything and im fully capable of searching. Its getting to the point to where i am not understanding the information that i am finding.
here are the constants:
s13 hatch.
~400hp rb25 neo
13" stoptech front brake kit 32mm 4 piston
dual z32 rear calipers (1 service brake 1 hand brake)
OS Giken Twin Plate clutch
ok thats what i have.
the variables
my already aquired from previous build Tilton 680 3cyl3pedal box meant for my old 190e evo build
chasebays booster eliminator and brake line kit
stock master cylinder
z32 master cylinder
Its probably important to mention that this car will spend more time on the track than the streets. its definately not a daily i dont mind a harsh ride or stiff pedal. hence the twin plate.
my original plan was to use the tilton box however it seems more complicated and time consuming than i wish to deal with. sizing cylinders and such. redoing all the brake lines etc.. however a pedal box that i dont have to buy its very appealing right now.
second thought was a chasebays kit because of the clearance for the turbo, its a clean install, and its not priced bad at all.
using stock/z32 master is just the lazy last option that i dont particularly want to do. if i have the money and the need for something more i will do it. brakes are very important to me.
one LAST thing. if i go with the box. i havent found much info on sizing of master cylinders for clutch slaves. i found the most complicated in depth brake calculators nothing for the clutch. i AM at a loss for this one.
im leaving this open because i dont want to ask a question and get an answer fuck that. i can search for an answer. what i am going after are ideas, opinions, and the chance to bounce ideas back and forth to point me in the right direction. thanks guys!
