Quick question. I looked around but can find anything. Its an s14 sr20det black top in an s14 chassis. Mods- gt28rs, blitz fmic, apexi intake, full exhaust, megan racing manifold. hks internal waste gate. This has always been open because once i put a line on it, it stalls out... What should i put there and its the nipple under the tb to the left. Also that line on the left is also hanging and i dont know whats it for... I think that nipple being open is the reason i get shitty gas mileage and it doesnt run as strong as i know it should!
Not to sure what your trying to say..
but the nipple under the tb, should be a vacuum source.
the other hose looks to be fuel line.

3 nipples. Big one is for waste gate small one is for fpr and small bottom one don't worry about it. It is not a vacuum source.

The SR20DET Throttle body has 3 types of nipples:
#1. Vacuum port. This is a port that is always *ON* it applies vacuum when the engine is running and boost when the engine is boosting
#2. Coolant line. There are two of these, and the idea is coolant flows through the throttle body to reduce the idle speed by heating up a paraffin wax element located inside the throttle body iirc. Usually these are a bit rusty for identification.
#3. Transition vacuum. There are usually only 1 of these, and it applies engine vacuum/boost ONLY while the throttle body is OPEN. You can identify this port by putting your finger over it with the engine running... It will only feel suction when you open the throttle body.
The transition vacuum port is generally used for emissions equipment, but you can tie it to a boost gauge for accurate boost reading. Just not a vacuum gauge, since at idle, when the TB is closed, there wont be any vacuum.
and finally that black hose you snapped a picture of is from the fuel tank. I believe it connected to the original emission equipment- perhaps the charcoal canister? Most enthusiasts just let it hang, and I am not sure that anybody ever developed a "clear solution" for it. Somebody that might know for 100% is Def.

i think thats the one that goes to the intercooler piping on the cold side, if its the hose i think your talking about, if its blocked it will turn off, it needs to be connected. maybe your piping is missing the BIG nipple (hahaha i said big nipple) on the piping, mine was missing that nipple when i had my S15 Spec-R with aftermarket piping on my s14, i know my RB has it as well..but im probably talking about the wrong hose by looking at your pics.

yea i cant cap it off cause it will stall out but im going to clean out the iavc tonight and see what happens. is it bad to have my boost gauge vac line to my wastegate or should i run it somewhere else?
