I just picked up a base model coupe for a DD.

The only problem is the heater is not hooked up.
The guy I purchased from said it just needs the hose coming out of the firewall.

My problem is I have no clue where to hook up to hose to.

Sorry for the noob question. I just want to be warm when driving.
Any help would be great.

Thank you-

Two hoses actually. You will notice one directly above it. The coolant passes through your engine block, out to your dash, thru heater, then back to the block again.

anyways, let me find you a picture or two via GOOGLE. I would explain it, but its much easier to find a picture with the intake manifold out of the way.

First:

second:

you should be able to find out where they go from there. (aka 1 and 3 in the 2nd picture, but refer to pic one for direction of travel)

edit: if you are are interested in learning everything about your car go to www.240sxtechdvds.org download the FSM (and maybe buy some dvd's, they help)

I do indeed see that. Interesting.

Now the question I have is where to hook up in the block?

lol, look at pictures again
no1 and no3
however, on your engine, if you have the intake manifold, I believe there is a hard line that attaches to no3 so you can connect to the back with a shorter rubber hose. Sorry, I can't do all the research for you.

Be wary hooking this back up. A lot of times people will disconnect them because the heater core inside the car has developed a leak. Instead of replacing the heater core, they simply bypass it so they don't have to pay to get it fixed...
